I went to the appointment for an extraction and when I arrived at the clinic 10 minutes early, the receptionist told me that she had sent me an email and called me to change the appointment date to Monday. I told her that seemed fine even though she had made me go to the clinic for nothing, wasting my time. When I left the clinic, I checked my phone and discovered with surprise that at no time had they sent me an email, much less called me to confirm that my appointment had been cancelled. I decided to return to the clinic to tell them that I had not received any communication from them at all. Just as I entered the clinic for the second time and showed my phone and recent emails to the two receptionists... they both went completely crazy and started yelling at me very rudely, receiving quite humiliating and degrading treatment from them. They also assured me that a relative of the dentist had died and that was why they had cancelled my appointment. It was obvious that they were lying with a horrible excuse that I wished I hadn't heard. I want to be clear that I never lost my manners at any point, and it was them who unhealthily became aggressive with me for no reason, as I only returned to the clinic to confirm which day I would have to return for the extraction. In the end, after insulting me and yelling at me for several minutes, they rudely threw me out of the clinic, slamming the door behind me. I don't know the names of the two receptionists, but one of them, who seemed to be the boss (a white lady), was completely hysterical, and the other (a black lady with glasses) seconded her, yelling at me even more. I had never received such treatment in my life, making me feel that instead of being in a place where the politeness and health of the patients come first, these two "ladies" made me feel like I was in a pub. A very unpleasant experience and the worst part is that after starting treatment with them, I have to find a new NHS dentist and start the treatment again from scratch. Literally, they have created a problem and instead of acknowledging it and apologizing, they blame me for their ineptitude ??!!! I have never seen anything like it, I have to admit... That clinic is only interested in registering as many NHS patients as they can to make a quick buck by providing horrible service to the patients. By the way, I can deduce that the deceased relative of the dentist was actually called a "private patient" with money and of course, they evidently kiss every word that comes out of their mouths inside the clinic because if they also treated those patients the same way they treated me, that clinic would have been history years ago. I'm sure they will respond with the typical phrase "we are sorry to read your words and blah, blah, blah" but... I don't give a damn, in exactly the same way that they care about their NHS patients haha. Never again. End of story.

I’ve been going to this dentist for a few years now and they are great. My 5 year old also goes there and genuinely looks forward to going to the dentist. They are so good with him. All the staff are lovely and very professional. I would highly recommend them.

Waited over a month for my appointment to get my tooth out. I get a call and they said they have to reschedule it coz the dentist is not in. I asked when and they said to wait another month and a half. When I said I waited over a month for this appointment and I need a quicker appointment she cut the call on me. Ridiculous and rude behaviour. The dentist herself is very good and helpful but I’m so disheartened by what her staff did today.

Brilliant dentist with friendly staff. You are seen quickly - you also get a reminder email just before your appointment is due which is extremely helpful when you have little ones and lots of things to remember! The dentist is kind and attentive and she always makes my kids feel at ease. They look forward to the appointments which makes the whole process much less stressful for busy parents.

I've been going to this dental practice since I was a young girl and would recommend the service to everyone. The staff and dentist at HA1 dental makes you feel at ease immediately. You are seen very quickly due to the fast booking in process at the reception. My whole check up was thorough and fast as it took 23 mins including X-rays. A good option if you want to book an appointment on your lunch break. Overall I had a great experience and I found that the dentist is very attentive when listening to my concerns and she was very friendly as were her assistants.
