Very unhappy with the treatment given to my child by Paulomi Patel. I watched her rush through a filling on my child, then rub high strength fluoride varnish all over 4 of her back teeth. All the time she's telling me how busy they are; she's saving me money and time; must get it done now; use fluoride toothpaste; she's doing it for us. My child didn't complain of any pain prior to the filling procedure. And after the filling Paulomi Patel rushed the decision to put high strength fluoride varnish on my child's teeth, with no mention of risks involved with fluoride (since the 1920s it has been a VERY well-known neurotoxin, esp for children, leading to 'cretinism' in the test population). Then Paulomi Patel tells my child not to eat anything for a few hours. Everything is a rush and we are rushed out of her room. I am courteous to dentists, as they have a lot of power over a patient while the patient is in a very vulnerable situation in the dentist's chair. And I like to give them the credit of being moderately well-read about health concerns. And having some interest in the health of their regular patients. But I regret my courtesy today. We went straight to the toilet to get the fluoride off my child's teeth. My child was crying because of the rushed filling and no discussion of what was going to happen. We encounter Patel in the corridor and she says she didn't know I had an issue with fluoride. So she neglected to run through the risks?! Shouldn't an honest practitioner inform the patient especially if the patient is not aware of the risks? Whether she knew I/ my child was aware of the dangers or not, the fact is Patel neglected patient safety. Then Patel said that the fluoride would not be too toxic because eating would diminish the toxicity. Just minutes before she had told my child not to eat for hours! I made a fuss and watched Patel removed the fluoride varnish. At this point my trust in Patel is a zero. My daughter brushed her teeth at home. Dental Quality Outcome Framework Points show using fluoride varnish earns the practice more QOF points and more money than for patient safety. So maybe that explains Patel's strategy today. I wonder if they are all like this at this practice? From 15940 Dental Quality Outcomes and Framework: The DQOF pilot payments will represent 10% of the contract value and be comprised of 1000 points. The domains are weighted as follows; β’ 60% (600 points) for Clinical Effectiveness β’ 30% (300 points) for Patient Experience β’ 10% (100 points) for Safety Update: I have checked my records and it was also Paulomi Patel who prescribed Metronidazole to me, due to a dental abscess. The abscess was cleared up by a hygenist visit. I never took the metronidazole because the side effects are so toxic, including a black box cancer warning. Paulomi Patel did not inform me of any of the dangers of metronidazole AT ALL. Nor did she offer me any alternatives. And I am not allergic to amoxicillin. Very sinister.

I'd give them a no stars if I could. I booked a first appointment for my two year old arrived 7minutes late to the appointment juggling kids and tantrums to get them to the dentist caused a slight delay. We were met with no sympathy they told us that if you are longer than 5 minutes late you miss your appointment. I was so angry I asked to speak to a manager and I was told because I was two minutes later than their 5 minute rule we were being turned away. I'm not looking for sympathy because it was my son's first appointment. To me this highlights what kind of business they are running, they don't care about their patients and they don't care about the individual that walks through the door. They could have had a new customer for their practice for the next 10-20 years but they choose to turn them down. Being careless and heartless with Children's appointments is just not human. We would have waited longer we would have been seen for less time but there was no real care given.

The best dentist Iβve ever been too! Itβs so clean, the decor is amazing and they often play David Attenborough docs whilst youβre getting your treatment. Every dentist Iβve seen goes above and beyond, especially Dr Paulomi Patel. Highly recommend.

Paulomi has been my dentist for a few years and I think that she is the best I have had. She is very caring and informative in looking after my teeth and provides so much advice on what I need to consider. She is always trying to ensure I am not in pain or uncomfortable. I totally trust her work and advice. Thank you Paulomi.

Miserable experience from start to finish with really aloof and unhelpful staff. I had my first NHS registered check up with park lane dental and I will not be returning and will definitely not recommend them to any friends or family.

We're NHS registered we have bad experience and received poor treatments always, never gets the appointments when needed. Some of new dentists are very rude! Rakesh and Ritesh are ok but always busy. I'm looking to move away from this horror practice. Same applies to my wife ((

I have been visiting Park Lane Dental my whole life and have been seeing Rakesh the whole time, very friendly and honest dentist whom my family also visit. I recently decided to have some cosmetic work completed and was recommended to Dr Darshan Shukla, I had Invisalign, whitening & composite bonding all in a under 4 months. Really smooth process with lots of communication and minimal visits to the practice to do all of this. Would definitely recommend!

I am currently finishing my Invisalign treatment with Darsh. It has been a smooth and easy process, Darsh explained each step along the way and has been very accommodating. I am thrilled with the results! I would highly recommend Darsh at Park Lane Dental.

Recently had dental bonding on my 2 front teeth. They were chipped and small and made me very self conscious. Saw Darshan who did the bonding. I am so happy with the results and cant stop smiling. Been at this practice for a very long time and I have always had very good experiences here. Would highly recommend.
