After being ignored and turned away by several dental surgeries, I finally found a team who genuinely listened and helped me. I wasn’t even aware that my tooth needed extracting until I came here, but they explained everything clearly, made me feel comfortable and calm throughout, and treated me with so much kindness and respect. The whole process from booking the appointment to aftercare was handled so professionally and compassionately. I usually visit the other Gentle Dental practice on Wickham Road, but recently I had to have a tooth extraction here with the oral surgeon, Sadia Ahmad. I am an extremely nervous patient, and I’m so grateful for the painless treatment I received. From the start, Sadia was incredibly reassuring and informative, explaining everything clearly. Her technique was so gentle and efficient that my tooth was out in no time. The dental nurse was wonderfully supportive throughout, and the receptionist was warm and welcoming too. Thank you, Gentle Dental, every time I visit, I feel less anxious about going to the dentist. Highly recommended, and one more big thank you to Sadia for being an absolute pro!
I recently completed a course of scaling and root planing treatment with Dr Mish Sachdev at Gentle Dental Care, and I am so glad I finally went ahead with it after putting it off for years. From the initial consultation, Dr Mish was reassuring. The treatment was carried out over two sessions and, thanks to the careful use of local anaesthetic, it was completely pain-free. I was initially worried I would not be able to eat properly afterwards, but the discomfort was very minimal, nothing like having a tooth extracted, and I was back to normal far sooner than expected. I also had some chips to my teeth, which were well taken care of by one of Dr Mish’s colleagues (Dr Ram Laxmikanthan) at the practice. It was great to have everything dealt with in one place, and the team really worked together to resolve all my dental concerns in a holistic and efficient way. I attended four hygienist appointments afterwards, which were very helpful in improving my brushing technique and maintaining the results. My gums feel much healthier and I have noticed fresher breath and less bleeding since. Everyone at the practice, from the reception team to the dental assistants, was warm, professional and supportive. If you are anxious about scaling and root planing, don’t be. Dr Mish and the Gentle Dental Care team will take the time to answer all your questions and ensure your comfort at every stage.
Felt very anxious yesterday, as I have been nervous all my life about going to the dentist. After the pain free injection I felt relaxed. All staff were professional and explained everything. Great oral hygiene instructions given. Not at all anxious about my next appointment. I definitely experienced gentle dental care.

I am really impressed by the service I received from Dr Mish. I received one opinion from a dentist previously but I came to Gentle Dental Care because I still felt there was an issue that I couldn’t identify. Dr Mish was able to give me in depth information about caring for my teeth and pointed out details and issues I was not aware of. I was referred to GDC by my dentist to resolve some serious issues. The consultant was very patient and explained the problems as well as the treatments. I'm not fond of dentists but this practice dealt with me very sensitively. The procedures were carried out professionally and the after care has been exceptional. I will definitely recommend Gentle Dental Care to all my family and friends.
I have been a patient at Gentle Dental Care for several years, I've had treatment from routine appointments, a dental implant to emergency treatment. The staff are always supportive and professional especially as I am a very nervous patient! They always explain exactly what needs to be done in a manner I can understand.
