   I had some bowel movement problems in a month, my husband helped me to seek medical advice on 24/12/2025 in the morning at about 9:00am. I received a phone call from Colton Mill Medical Centre staff to arrange an appointment at 10:06am on 24/12/2025 with Dr. A Sandhu. Thank you so much for the prompt appointment by the staff and I felt so thankful for Dr. Sandhu's examination and prescription. Dr. Sandhu was so kind and gentle to me.

   I highly recommend this surgery. The triage system is really helpful and it works! Everytime I have requested an on the day appointment, I have received either a face to face or a telephone appointment. All the G.P's, nurses, receptionist etc are approachable, personable, empathetic and efficient. I cannot praise them enough. Thank you for your support from one very satisfied patient.

   Visited yesterday (Saturday 13th December) for the first time, part of hub service for family doctors. Beyond impressed with front of house, spotless. The receptionist was so lovely, kind, polite and helpful. The doctor I saw was apologetic for running late but more than made up for this for dealing with my medical issues. Totally recommend.

   I thank the Colton Mill Medical Centre for their quick response to my non-urgent appointment expecting to have to wait a day or so, they returned within a couple of hours with a solution for me. I cannot thank them enough for their quick response and I (and my husband) have always had the very best of care from this surgery and its staff. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Keep up the good work!

   Doctor Kay is wonderful. Her understanding of both mine and my children’s illness, is always understood. She remains both polite and caring during consultations. I feel certain her knowledge is well round, she acts on her word. to ensure her duties carry through to an end result. i have been unwell for over 12 months and often felt at times other doctors haven’t listened and understood how much my life has been effected by this condition. However doctor kaye actioned tests and investigations to ensure I was cared for properly. Thank you!

   Have just come out of the surgery and I have to leave this review. The time I spent with the gp was such a good experience. I feel listened to and understand ,all with such compassion. I then needed to book in at reception for bloods ,and again really helpful and friendly. I was close to tears going in and feel so much better. Thank you all so much. You make sure a difference to peoples lives. Could not be happier with Colton Mill.

   Updated. See below. Absolutely useless. Can’t get an appointment after spending 30 minutes waiting to get through. The advice given by reception has just sent me around in circles. Call 111. Who told me to call my GP. What the hell!!!! Ok. So an update. Has gotten much better in recent months so review rating updated to reflect.

   All this re how bad this surgery is .... rubbish! For the people that jump on with bad reviews ...... I've been with this surgery years and all the staff are lovely, the doctors are amazing. I'm sorry but keyboard warriors putting this surgery down is a disappointing the staff GPS nurses are all fantastic they do an amazing job, like any gp sometimes is hard to get an appointment but you tell me where isn't- all surgeries are now. Every gp stretched to there limit not just this surgery. I highly recommend this surgery to anyone. I will be sad to leave now I've relocated. I wish the staff members all the best and thankyou for all your hard work for the years you've all looked after me. Thank you so so much!

   This practice is an absolute disgrace. Trying to get an appointment to see a doctor is a complete fiasco, and near impossible. An average review rating of 2.5. Are the management team proud of that figure ? A practice is funded by the NHS dependant on the number of registered patients. Quite clearly Colton Mill Medical Centre have subscribed too many patients to increase their revenue without the ability to effectively serve those patients. While doctors have thrown down the gauntlet to the government by calling for a pay rise of up to 30% over the next five years, in a move that increases the chances of strike action. An absolutely and utterly disgraceful level of service.
