Wait time was circa 1.5 hours, very warm in waiting room so wear light clothing and take a bottle of water with you. The doctor was absolutely fantastic, patient, empathetic, thorough and very professional. Thank you to him for his care. The only thing i didnβt like was the drug users coming in to use toilets, reception staff seemed aware but nothing was said, and one unsavoury character outside trying to engage with me whilst i waited for my husband to pick me up, so i went back inside! Overall a very good service and wonderful doctor, thank you.

No issues at all. We got seen fast (20 min wait) in a busy time (5pm), the receptionist was friendly and so was the nurse that saw to us. There is a lift to the floor the walk in Center is on for wheelchair access.

I wanted to go to another urgent care center last night, but it was too crowded, so I went to King Street. I didn't have to wait too long, the doctor was very kind, and I received unexpected help. I have never encountered such good service.

After trying to get in at our local doctors for nearly a week with no appointments available I called in to the drop in centre today with my daughter. Only had to wait twenty minutes. All the staff were so polite. Doctor who saw her explained everything he was going to check and why. He was extremely helpful, patient and kind to her. Brilliant service

Absolutely canβt fault this place. My boyfriend needed to see a doctor and is not registered at a GP here as weβve just recently moved. We were seen by a lovely doctor, given a prescription and picked it up from the pharmacy all within 20 minutes. Very clean in there too and nice receptionists. Would recommend! (We went at 5pm on a Friday for reference)

Very busy but, to be fair, the help was great with onward referral to the hospital. Pleased so far. βΊοΈ

Took my 3 year old daughter to king Street clinic in Wakefield with a closed swollen eye. They didn't even have a look at her eye, took her heart rate blood pressure and checked her ears. Diagnosed it as eczema of the eyelid and was advised to put on a cold compress and moisturise her eyelids and face... don't worry not contagious. I didn't do it luckily. Got her to the doctors and it turns out it's a stye that is contagious and could have been spread to her other eye if i had followed the advise. that's 2 miss diagnosis for 2 different sicknesses in the past few months that has caused her prolonged pain and suffering. First miss diagnosis was a rash and high temperature and disorientation which they Diagnosed as just a rash , dont worry about it, turns out it was scarlet fever and again contagious. You need more training because your getting it very very wrong .

I am staying at a friends house in the Wakefield area, I am not registered with a GP in the area so when I called the local GP the receptionist was very helpful and suggested that I visit the walk in centre. I called centre and the receptionist said to come straight away. The service I received was exceptional, I was seen within 10 mins and my prescription sent to the pharmacy ready for me to collect. Thank you to everyone for your professionalism and kindness.

I personally do not think this deserves 1 star if there was 0 star ratings available trust me I would rate it as 0 . I had just came in yesterday with my mum we used the buzzer no reply so we figured maybe we had to hold onto the buzzer whilst talking so we did that then all of a sudden we have a lady shouting hello multiple times down the buzzer as Iβm literally vomiting she is continuously shouting where my mum intervenes and attempts to talk and explain that we made a mistake this woman still has the audacity to shout and says it doesnβt matter who held the buzzer and continues to ask us multiple questions on whether we have any covid symptoms where I only have a temperature we are trying to explain to her I have already tested but she continues to ask questions without letting us explain. We then come in waiting for someone to let us in (security guard) who is completely oblivious to whatβs going on around him and is also not very good with his social skills we continue to go in (taking the stairs) as we get up the woman is at the entrance and starts to talk and says there are no quarantine rooms available my mum asks if she was the lady that we were talking to she replied yes my mum asks her why she was shouting and asks for her name she says I wasnβt not shouting in a very rude reply then says we will have to stay at the side of the entrance with no chairs or anything and starts to walk off (talk about not having any customer service skills) so me and my mum both wait I start to get very hot and start to vomit again now I need the toilet now I ask my mum to use the buzzer and to just tap it this time she does this and the lady looks at us this time I sit at the stairs raise my hand to get her attention it worked but she still continues to talk to her colleague and then ignores me as she can clearly see I need assistance . Then her colleague comes and says there is a room now available her colleague was quite polite and says we will have to wait 3 quarters of an hour to be seen the doctor comes and says she can not prescribe us with anything but can get something prescribed to out local gp we agree but Iβm not happy with the customer service from walk-in centre and the lady who was rude was blown haired middle aged around 40 still had not given us her name . Completely unacceptable we have been here a few times in the past the customer service has never been this bad.
