   I have been with these guys for a few years now. I genuinely do not understant at all the bad reviews here. I first came to these guys after seeing another dentist who basically couldn't treat me due to my severe needlephobia. So severe that I'd often times come to an appointment and leave before work was done. I was panicky and often too stressy to allow work to be done. All the dentists here have been fabulous eith me from those who have spent time talking about my issues to those who have done work. The receptionists always welcoming with a smile and nice word. No judgement from these guys, they've seen it all before. It's several years on now and these guys have got to the point they recognise me. I've never heard a harsh word from the reception team and they genuinely care about the quality of their work. As for how professional, attentive and understanding they are let me say for someone who arrived absolutely petrified of sharps, needles and being at the mercy of someone else, these guys (some dentists who have now left) and some who are still present got me through that phobia. I have had teeth out, fillings done over several visits and yes I had the needle each time. Each time without issue and each time my phobia became easier to manage, to anxiety and eventually to nerves until like today I sat in the waiting room listening to the staff and tapping my foot to the music. I realised then I was over any issues I had. Yes it's in part due to my sheer guts, determination and years of therapy. However it is also due to having amazing receptionists, dentists and dental assistants at Smileshines. So, thank you. Your work is appreciated. G.W.

   These people are brilliant!! I got into the practice where they greeted me with the warmest of welcomes by the reception team and signed in. I then was asked into the surgery room and put at ease by Dr. Maria and her nurse.I was in and out in no time which was great! 5 stars for them!!

   The loveliest reception team. Always greeted with a smile. The team is welcoming and very efficient. I have been with this practice for over 12 years and always been looked after very well by some very attentive, professional and caring dentists and hygienists so thank you guys x

   Best Dentist in the country, without question! Nilam & her Nurse Daria were both SUPERB in their pulling my infected molar. Fiercely professional and caring beyond care! This 60 year old London Ambulance NHS employee cannot recommend this NHS (& Private if you prefer) dentist enough!!! What a Stunning Team!!!

   I am very disappointed with this dentist surgery. I was first sent to wrong surgery for treatment under inhalation anaesthesia, as I have Trypanophobia (a fear of needles). I contacted the dentist surgery, and had no response or new referral, though this was their error. What had developed was an abscess. I went to the dentist who had given me antibiotics, but the course had finished - though the infection and abscess still remained. I called back 4 days after, asking whether I could have two more days as it hadn’t cleared, the dentist said that she didn’t believe that antibiotics would be helpful with my case. But I had already started a course of antibiotics, meaning that I could easily build resistance to this sort of medication. I was left in so much pain. And this felt like negligence - being given medication then - it not being enough to get rid of my infection. I am very disappointed, and upset - as it would have taken two seconds to see that I still have an abscess, and to give me an extra day of the medication previously prescribed, prior.

   I have attended over 5yrs and at my age I have used a few dentists, The Beckenham surgery is up with the Best. Very accommodating reception,always polite and as helpful as they can be. Maria has been my dentist for some time and is very good and confident at her craft 5☆

   Absolutely amazing dentist. We travel a distance to see our dentist because he is by far the best dentist out there. Great with all ages always so friendly and welcoming - part of the family. My daughter is very calm and relaxed with him as he puts her at ease with what he is going to do. Usually she has very bad anxiety. Hard to find a good dentist. But when you do you have to hold on close to them. Bit like a good hairdresser. Highly recommend this dental surgery.
