I have been with this surgery for around 20years. I wouldnβt change for any other. I always manage to get appointments, the doctors are all lovely, I have always received the best care and the receptionists have always been polite & helpful. I canβt understand the bad reviews. I must just add today 30th October 25 I tried to make an appointment as usual at 8am, a lady advised me that you cannot make a telephone appointment you have to do it online with βPatchesβ how stupid is that? Old people & people without internet will be dying in droves, probably thatβs the way the government wants it!

I had the misfortune to speak to a receptionist on the telephone about an appointment. She was patronising, unhelpful and unpleasant. Very disappointing because I have found the standard of care to be generally good.

Absolutely horrible place. The receptionists are so unprofessional and rude. We had a face to face appointment for 8:50. Sitting there from 8:30 despite telling her I'm here , while I'm sitting there ,I received a text you didn't attend the appointment. When I confronted her she just makes difference excuses. The other day she called and said your letter is ready to collect, when we came to collect she said you already collected your letter. She didn't give it to us. We found out she gave it to someone else then told us your letter is not ready go home and we will call you. The management there is absolutely a joke and the receptionists are the most awful people who could work as a receptionist. Asked about complaint form. First they said ok. Then they said go online. And no where in there website you can find complaint form.

Abysmal. Like a 3rd World country with a GP like this. 45 mins on hold to get an appointment Monday morning, then cut off. Attended in person. Not a singlee person in waiting room. No GP available. No returned calls. How is this allowed? Monday morning at 10am, nobody to answer the phones, nobody even in waiting room. Is this even a functioning Doctor's practice?

Constant slew of texts informing patients that they're understaffed or fully booked. If you ring up expect to be waiting an hour before you get through. Most receptionists are nice though there are a couple who are very rude. Wrote a letter and sent it in regarding a condition i had previously spoken to a Dr about, this was completely ignored.

Cannot get through to these doctors on the phone.... And when you do they don't like to see people after covid struck... Like they don't want to work or something... Better going to see your local mystic or shaman or witch doctor you see better results with them.

The doctors and nurses are great when you get to speak to them/see them. Unfortunately this is almost impossible to do, even when the doctor or nurse has put a note on file that you need a follow up, the receptionists don't allow you to make an appointment. I've had to go through 111 to get a doctor to call me as it's the only way to bypass the receptionists. I appreciate the pressures the GP surgeries are under but when a medical professional at the surgery has stated further action is needed, it's not appropriate for a receptionist to disagree with this and block the required action.

Absolutely horrible. The reception staff do not give you an appointment even if doctor has asked you to make one, because receptionist apparently are more experienced and with medical degree and can decide that actually you don't need one. Been with this practice for years and was always excellent until reception staff changed. Rude and incompetent, that's all I can say. Ended up in A&E and surgery

So hard to get an appointment especially now since they 'improved' it. Can't even speak to a doctor just get emails. Had tests done which came back clear which is fine but no conversation about next steps since the problem is still there. Just "well it's not this so go away"
