   I’m a Smile White client who was referred to this dentist to get invisalign treatment. I needed to get some procedures done before I do my Invisalign. On the 5th December, I was there to get a root canal carried out by the dentist Muhammad Farhan Ali. During the procedure, the side-nurse Maria Mantog sat on the left hand side of me on the chair. Legs crossed with an unbothered attitude. Every time Muhammad required a tool from her, she will twist round on the chair and dig into me with the chair and her body. I then needed a suction. When Doctor Ali asked for the suction Maria physically hit me with the suction stick on my mouth. I was in total shock. Dr Ali apologised several times on Maria’s behalf. At this point I am lying there and I have the local anaesthetic in my mouth. I was in a vulnerable position and Maria Mantog did not apologise once which left me feeling vulnerable and scared. She was allowed to continue abusing me. I have been going to the dentist for decades and I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism. When the doctor was asking Maria Mantog for suction I felt very scared, frightened and petrified. She was rolling her eyes, unbothered and it seemed as though she hated me and was intent on causing me physical harm. I don’t know why she didn’t apologise and own up to her abuse. When a client is harmed you’re supposed to provide reassurance. Going forward I cannot come back to this surgery and worry about my wellbeing. It is worrying for me to be abused by a member of staff and for nothing to be done about it. Maria Mantog continued to abuse me and was making it very clear that she wanted to hurt me multiple times.

   We have been at Mr Whitomes practice for decades. appointments are always on time, the staff are very friendly and Mr Whitome is professional, very gentle, reassuring and builds trust for all procedures. Having moved house we travel over an hour each way to visit his surgery.

   Booked in for scale/polish and home teeth-whitening. The dentist cast the moulds for teeth whitening and I came back a week later to be explained the process on how to do the teeth-whitening at home. Excellent service and explanation. 1 star removed because the reception area decor needs updating.

   My wife and I see Dr Samir Patel at the practice for many years and his dental care is impeccable. His fantastic gentle and caring technique never feel pain and we have both had extensive dental work carried out by him. Professional and dependable dental practice all dentists are very good with emergency consultations provided when needed, speedily. Thoroughly recommended.
