Formal Complaint – Ongoing Negligence, Poor Management and Lack of Compassion I requested to be seen three days ago explaining I was in severe pain from an ongoing issue and requested a female GP for personal and medical comfort reasons. This was clearly stated in my booking request. I arrived early for my 9:45 appointment on 10/10/25, waited over 20 minutes, and only after I asked what was happening was I told my appointment had been made with a male GP despite my clear request. The receptionist said the GP who triaged it didn’t tell them, and when I asked why no one checked my notes, she said there was a lot of writing to read and it’s small. That response alone says everything about the standards here. It’s astonishing that basic duties like reading patient notes are treated as optional. There are serious reasons women may refuse male doctors – religion, trauma, or safety – all ignored through sheer carelessness. They then rebooked me for 2:20 PM the same day after their own mistake. I mistakenly thought it was 2:30 PM and arrived slightly late, only to be cancelled on instantly. So it’s fine for them to waste patients’ time and mess up bookings, but the moment you’re confused because of their errors, you’re punished for it. I left in pain and requested my scan results to take elsewhere. I’d had a scan on 25th September, told results would be ready in two weeks. Yet they booked me for a results appointment on 20th October – nearly a month later – despite my worsening pain and repeated requests. I asked for a female GP because I’ve had years of male doctors dismissing symptoms later proven serious. For many women, this isn’t preference, it’s about safety and dignity. The so-called apology I received was half-hearted and clearly rehearsed, more about getting me out of the way than taking accountability. This isn’t an isolated incident. Reception staff constantly mishandle bookings and patient details, once signing me in under another patient’s name, leading to wasted appointments. The recall nurses are just as unprofessional. Despite me asking them not to call, they continued repeatedly. One recall nurse even said, “You know you can just say you don’t want the appointment instead of saying you’ll call back,” and hung up on me mid-sentence, during a time I was already managing a health crisis for a family member. That kind of disrespect is beyond unprofessional. And Nurse Lucy – for nearly a year she told me to keep buying and using the same medication that didn’t work. I spent a fortune following her advice while my condition worsened. I told her it was ruining my life and mental health and begged her to investigate further – she ignored me. A private doctor later confirmed the treatment was completely inappropriate and should have been stopped long ago. Nurse Lucy also claimed she’d do a referral, which I later discovered she couldn’t, and she simply didn’t escalate it to a GP. I had to chase it myself. That’s not a misunderstanding, it’s outright negligence. This practice is a disgrace, poorly managed, disorganised, and devoid of compassion. Notes aren’t read, patients in pain are ignored, and mistakes are constant. Yet to be treated with basic humanity, you have to go private. It’s interesting how the NHS, despite being funded by taxpayers, continuously fails people while private care does the very basics right. If you’re considering registering here, don’t. You’ll have your time wasted, your health ignored, and your requests dismissed by staff who treat you like an inconvenience. The ethics and professionalism here are in the ground. I’ll give credit where it’s due, Dr Mona and Dr Gujral have been the only compassionate doctors I’ve ever dealt with at this practice. Talent wasted in such an environment. I’m certain I’m not the first to go through this, nor the last. I held off complaining because I believe in giving people grace, but this place is a complete failure of ethics, management, and basic decency. A shameful waste of taxpayers money. I will make sure to take this complaint as far as possible.

Extremely frustrating experience. The clinic has introduced an app for booking appointments, but it simply doesn’t work. When you call to schedule directly, you're redirected back to the faulty app. Even after explaining that the app isn't functioning, the staff insist there's nothing they can do — despite having a receptionist perfectly capable of booking appointments manually. It feels like they’re more interested in appearing tech-savvy than actually providing patient care. If the digital system doesn't work, there should be a reliable alternative — not a dead end. Very disappointing.

I had an appointment today and arrived 6 minutes late (I was told it was 9 minutes, but I checked the time and confirmed this was incorrect). Despite being checked in and asked to wait, after 10 minutes, the receptionist called me over to say the doctor wouldn’t see me because I was "10 minutes late." This was incredibly frustrating, especially as I’ve previously arrived early for appointments at this practice and waited well past my scheduled time to be seen. To be checked in, made to wait, and then told I wouldn’t be seen is unacceptable. The service at this practice is consistently disappointing. I also find it uncomfortable that patients are asked to disclose the reason for their visit openly at the reception desk, where others can hear. It feels like a complete lack of consideration for patient privacy. Overall, this practice feels unpleasant and poorly managed. After this experience, I’ve decided to seek private care, as the level of service here is simply not up to standard.

Absolutely disgusting practice. Receptionist are rude. Especially the crusty old receptionist who thinks the surgery belongs to her. Worst thing is, the practice manager tell people to call ahead with complaints yet nothing is ever resolved. She barely does anything. She should be investigated. Not sure why this place hasn't shut down. Wouldn't even give 1 star. Avoid if possible

Horrible experiemce. . Came today for my 6 month old ear infection check up. Appointment was at 10:20am and its been 1 hour still waiting for appointment. When asked from the receptionist he said he can not do any thing about it. He even did not call manager to discuss the issue and was rude. Had really bad experiences previously aswell. I have to miss my other appoinmtment due to this delay. As was not expecting this much delay. I have to wait for more than an hour to see Dr.

The staff here are so rude, I really couldn't believe how the receptionist was trying to argue with me over the phone! They should go through customer service training again until competency as they do not know how to be polite! All I asked was why the doctor called me at 11am when I was told I will receive a call at 9.15am. How can you possibly give me attitude and hang up on me, absolutely furious!!!!
