   I cannot praise Abbey Dental enough for the service I was provided. I had an infection in my gum which in the end meant I needed to have a tooth extracted. I have white coat syndrome and to say I am anxious visiting any surgery/hospital (let alone have anything done) is an understatement. Amina was so good, so professional, taking the time to explain my treatment and to reassure and attempt to calm me. I always feel bad and so stupid for being anxious but Amina was incredibly patient and made me calm enough to have the treatment and not run! Amina’s assistant was great too, even holding my hand …. yes I’m embarrassed but it helped and although I left one tooth down, I was so happy to have been able to face the fear and get it dealt with rather than avoid it and that’s thanks to Amina at Abbey Dental.

   Staff have been great and very accommodating given my personal circumstances. My dentist Amina is brilliant, really takes time to explain particular problem areas and best way forward. Very positive attitude and passionate about their job and genuinely wants to help. So far, great service all round.

   I have been using Abbey Dental for a few years now and I can say that the service has improved a lot. The dentists (especially Racheal O.) go the extra mile to ensure they explain your treatments procedure before and after, making sure you are at ease during the session. The admin/reception staff are courteous, professional and efficient. Being a dental practice commonly used and strategically located in the heart of Barking, I can say they are doing a great job at keeping the standards very high.

   I cannot recommend Abbey Dental Barking enough! I was so nervous about getting a root canal, but Rachel, Riddhi, and Tatiana completely changed the experience for me. From start to finish, they were professional, patient, and incredibly caring Rachel took the time to explain everything in detail, which made me feel comfortable and informed,they answered all the questions I had . The treatment itself was painless, smooth, and far better than I ever expected. Their kindness and reassurance turned what I thought would be a stressful procedure into something completely manageable. I would definitely recommend them for any procedure, especially a root canal! you’ll be in the best hands possible!

   Had an emergency appointment through 111. Forms to complete were sent to complete. Was easy to get to and nice spacious. Was seen promptly. Dentist and dental nurse were lovely and I even got xrayed. Went away feeling reassured and gave me antibiotics prescription too. Thank you for lovely service.

   When I have any tooth issues and it's an emergency I normally get seen by my own dentist or any available dentist within a few hours. Only thing the phone lines, the staff are always bright welcoming and lovely, reminders are sent and also its good to complete any forms ahead of time before your apt I would recommend

   I joined this Dental Surgery just recently and had 3 appointments so far. They seem well organised: I received regular reminders of my appointments via text and phone, which was great. My only criticism is that l found difficult to contact them by phone as lines seem always busy. 100% satisfied with the treatments received by my lady dentist, a very competent, polite and gentle person who made me feel welcome from day one. Also she was very happy to answer to all my queries and l found this very reassuring and comforting.

   Receptionist was very rude on telephone when i tried to book in my son who has autism and severe heightened anxiety and does not attend regularly for this reason, stated only providing regular clients even though my son is registered. Managed to speak to another member of staff who booked in my son and was very understanding, dentist was fantastic and patient with my son.

   I came here after getting referred by 111. Absolutely disappointed! I came regarding food being stuck somewhere between my wisdom teeth and it causing me so much pain that I could feel my gums and teeth throbbing. They X-ray me. After the X-ray, she (the dentist) said she can’t see anything and that I should go get another procedure done, which would take me days or weeks to get. I asked several times to please check with your tools as I can feel pressure and pain and I just want them to use their tools to at lest try something as I’ve come here for help. She refused to look and kept saying the X-ray doesn’t show nothing so nothing is there. I was shocked, surprised and speechless at her lack of even trying to help me. She did nothing but made me feel as if I inconvenienced her and wasted her time. With her refusing to do anything to help me I just got up and left. I will NEVER recommend this place or come here ever again after this experience. It was a waste of my time and money. I had to endure the pain all day till my appointment for it to be a total waste of my time! Your practice needs to hire proper dentist whom have a desire and passion to actually listen and help patients! You took money and made me wait longer then the time I spent with your useless dentist. Rubbish service, thanks for nothing!
