My faith in this practice has gone down substantially. Trying to make appointments is near impossible especially when in dire need. Its always ring tomorrow, ring tomorrow. Their is no tomorrow. Not only myself but a few of us maybe forced into moving Doctora.

Two-Star Review: Urgent Need for Improved Care & Communication Headline: Critical Procedural Failures & Barriers to Essential NHS Treatment This review is written in the spirit of seeking positive, necessary change for all. My experience reveals significant, systemic shortcomings regarding communication and access to care for an individual relying on the practice. Key Issues Experienced: Flawed Communication for Legal Rights: The surgery failed to use a robust, reliable process (relying solely on a single email that was missed) to notify me of my NHS Right to Choose (RTC) eligibility. This severe procedural failure directly resulted in me being forced to incur significant private costs for essential treatment that should have been NHS-funded. No adequate follow up was made via other channels (phone, text, post). Lack of Clinical Understanding: A recent punitive administrative action (Zero Tolerance letter) demonstrates a failure to take my confirmed, logged diagnosis into appropriate consideration, treating a symptom of an unmedicated condition as purely a behavioural issue. This escalates distress instead of providing supportive care. Inability to Access Fundamental Care: The practice demonstrates a systemic failure to provide basic access, highlighted by my inability to secure a vital health check-up, despite serious risk factors, due to persistent issues with unanswered calls and blocking access to appointments. The practice must urgently address these systemic failures and authorise immediate NHS-funded treatment to rectify the procedural shortfalls that have created a serious health and financial burden for me. Uplifting change is absolutely needed here to ensure equitable safety and access to care. If anyone else feels unsupported, I urge you to contact your local MP, Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO), the body responsible for reviewing unresolved complaints about the NHS in England and seek guidance from the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).

Phone lines drop while you're in a queue, or claim that all lines are busy and to try again in 5-10 minutes or go online... online booking service stays always turned off these days, so what's the point?

Receptionist very rude. called to make an appointment never picked up. worst NHS in Leeds The reception staff on the first floor are the rudest members of staff! both on the phone and face to face. They look at you like they want to fight you not help you. Rolling there eyes if they have to do anything to assist you. Not just to myself, I witnessed one if them being so unhelpful and rude to and elderly patient who was struggling to check herself in on the computer. The way that the receptionist spoke to her was disgusting! I can not believe that a NHS GP surgery employ such rude and arrogant staff. They need to be replaced as staff like that give the NHS a bad name.

Please accept this as a verified revue. A young lady named Dr Baxfield came to visit my aged (91 year old) father in law today. She was courteous, professional and seemed genuinely concerned. Both he and I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

Trying to speak to anyone or to get an appointment is impossible. I've currently been on hold for 35 mins and still in the queue. I started as 14in the queue and only down to 5th. It doesn't matter what time of day you call you always have to wait over 30 mins. Staff clearly don't answer the phone. Calls to receptionist shouldn't take long at all, so to be waiting for so long only suggests they don't answer. Also on a number of occasions I've been given incorrect Information from the receptionist. I think the staff need more training before they start giving out advice or just leave that to the medical professionals

Horrible, just absolutely horrible place. Lost our documents, for all our family members. Could not find them and therefore we could not get any consultation. When they found them. They told there were no spots available at all and offered to call them each morning at 8 o'clock to see if there appear any spots. wat????

Had to go to the children’s clinic today which is inside the health centre. The health centre itself has many nhs functions but my review is based on access , and facilities for wheelchair users . I noticed on Sat Nav that the destination is at the front of the building . This is fine if you arrive on public transport or taxi . You then have to walk past the bollards and up the grand footpath to a not very imposing door in a rather large blue /violet imposing wall. For those with vehicles depending upon which direction you come in :- from Horsforth side turn right onto station road before the building and then left onto Modder Avenue ,the health centre car park is on your left. From Leeds turn left onto Carr Crofts then right onto Modder Avenue .The car park is on your right as you drive down . I noticed the car park was full and there are only Four disabled bays . However people are coming and going most of the time . Exit the car and go to the building and follow it to the right around the front of the building. The main door is automatic as is the next one inside . It’s all flat and level . Reception is in front left and also has a lowered desktop . I noticed there were lifts to other floor s and department s and where we went access was made for me all doors are wide and there were disabled toilets. All departments are signposted.
