   Ordered our pizzas tonight for the first time …they were spot on! I just want to say a big thank you to the lad who delivered them. He came across as a really hard-working guy, polite and genuine, the kind of person who represents the business brilliantly. We ordered through the app (which was a bit annoying), but his attitude completely made up for it.

   EDIT (July 2025): The store now appears to be using in-house delivery drivers, and the quality has improved a lot since my initial review. ----- Do not order delivery from this store. Papa Johns have partnered with Uber Eats and no longer have in-house delivery drivers. This is not stated anywhere on the checkout page when you are ordering directly from their website or app. Uber Eats drivers do not (in my experience) have bags big enough for the pizzas at Papa Johns. The tracking is also notoriously unreliable and does not specify if your driver is handling multiple orders or not. Your food will likely show up cold or lukewarm. I have had 2 poor experiences with delivery from this store where the food has shown up lukewarm due to deliveries now being handled by Uber Eats. I did contact their customer services and they gave canned responses and failed to properly address the issue I was raising. They asked for pictures of the cold food I received (???). I would highly recommend reading other Google reviews on this store as we all seem to be having similar experiences. I cannot comment on the in-store experience or pick-up service, but again I highly advise you do not order for delivery from this store.

   Absolutely delicious pizza and side's, well worth the money as a treat now and again. My only criticism is not enough tomato sauce on the base but apart from that perfect. Delivery was quick considering it was a Friday early evening and the driver very polite. Will be ordering again. We'll done Urmston ✔

   My experience is pretty much reflection to the previous reviewer Made first phone call however after waiting over an hour and some one answered who was very unhelpful and wasn't even able to provide me with an update on the order. The second phone call was quite some time after to cancel order again if it was just to review person and helpfulness would be Luke the beacon in a world of chaos. Eventually canceled my order and got a refund yes I know it's a new franchise with teething issues and other issues that may have contributed to the issues. Over the years I've eaten papa john's north and south of the UK after living in various places near a franchise and was very excited and looking forward to being able to get a Papa John's delivered after nearly 3 years of not having one I'll be honest the way my first call was delt with has tarnished my faith and possibly not to to try this franchise again because not being able to keep on top of orders or provide an estimate of managing them is rather shocking and unprofessional.

   I've had pizza from lots of places large and small. Papa John's I can confirm is the best by a country mile! The tomato sauce is a little sweeter tan most, coupled with perfectly tanned cheese and sausage pieces like little footballs. Served with a beautiful crisp bottom of base and complimented with a garlic sauce, evey piece of this pizza was devoured with gusto. Would I order again? Hell yes! Would I recommend them? Absolutely! Keep it up Papa John's and Pizza Hut will be quaking in their boots!
