“This place deserves 5 stars. Firstly upon entering the place was greeted by such a lovely and happy Chinese lady. They really do treat you like you are a valued customer. However regardless of this the food. Out of the hundreds of Chinese takeaways I've tried around the uk the food is the BEST. For my order I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. Yes they really did cook everything fresh. Even when I entered the building the lady was making something from scratch. When I got home the food was unbelievable. Sweet and sour chicken, the chicken batter still crispy it was so fresh. And it literally melted in my mouth. The ribs, crispy and extremely meaty, full of meat! The homemade spring rolls were the nicest I've ever tried. Unreal. And everything else we ate was just so fresh and full of flavour Another amazing thing, I didn't get that extreme thirst which you usually get from Chinese takeaways - most likely since the food is homemade and not from packets or jarred sauces. And lastly, pricing. I mean the prices are like they were years ago. Usually a £45 order cost us £29 today I honestly wish that this place gets the recognition it deserves because it really is the best in every possible aspect. Thank you so much pearl garden. The ambiance was cozy and perfect for a relaxing evening. Food: We started with the chicken lollipop, chicken 65, Gobi Manchuria which was fresh and flavourful. For the main course, I had the chicken dum biryani, and it was cooked to perfection. The blend of spices and the presentation were top-notch. “Pubs a cool laid spot, you wouldn't expect much of the food by the look of it but it really punches above its surrounding some surprising things on the menu and really well cooked. Don't go semi full, every time I've eaten here I've waddled out. Beer selection is good and staff have always been really nice. Carvery on a Sunday is impressive. Again better quality than you'd expect by the surroundings.”
