   Unfortunately very very poor service, had to ask a few times for the waitress to return especially with hungry kids, all the glasses and food still left on table throughout the meal we literally had sauces from mains whilst dessert was served just sitting there. Messy and dirty looking place to be honest I was shocked and won’t be back. I know the garden isn’t in season now but it was a filthy mess and this is what you can see so god knows what it’s like behind the scenes

   My visit to Pizza Express was fantastic. The pizzas were freshly made, full of flavour, and served piping hot. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience feel easy and enjoyable from start to finish. The restaurant had a lovely, relaxed vibe — perfect meal with family. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

   Good place for a quick pizza bite. I feel like there were loads of tomato sauce on the pizza, which overwhelmed the taste a bit, but it was all fresh. Unfortunately, the place gets very loud with many guests, and then with little guests, it is still a bit tricky to get staff's attention.

   This was a great experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, and the restaurant wasn’t too crowded due to it being quite large. The experience was lovely, and the atmosphere was great. The food wasn’t too expensive and I found the service to be incredibly friendly. I’d absolutely come back here.

   Tried deliveroo order for the first time. Food arrived stone cold and inedible 20-25 mins after original eta. Not sure whether it’s Pizza Express or deliveroo’s fault but either way not acceptable. Deliveroo offered refund of 25% of total order which I felt was derisory.

   Great Experience in Pizza express Amersham. The staff who served were amazing. Very good with knowing Allergens and very friendly. The selection was great on top of being able to select a pizza of choice but have it done Gluten Free. Also found out all the flour they use is Gluten free so it is safe for Celiac's too. Great Service and will definitely be going back to this particular PE.

   Update 2022 Having used the restaurant again I've revised my previous 2 star rating up to 4 stars. It was 5 stars before the delivery fiasco described below. In the restaurant we had an excellent experience as before, the service was great and the food was spot on. We will definitely go back. While we were there we noticed pizzas boxed for delivery accumulating in the kitchen. It was a long time before Deliveroo came to collect them. I wouldn't have a delivery again. My previous 2 star review is as follows: Good restaurant, poor delivery. We've used Pizza Express in Amersham many times as a restaurant and have always been satisfied. It's not cheap, but was good. This evening we ordered through Deliveroo. The food was slightly delayed from the original forecast, but was actually delivered within 29 minutes. No issues with Deliveroo or their driver. On opening the sealed bags we found that the dough balls were missing. Also the bruschetta topping was spread around the box. Once reassembled this was fine. The pizzas and lasagna arrived cold and we chose to reheat them. The lasagna was in a foil tray without a lid put inside a card box. This seems idiotic as any Indian or Chinese restaurant successfully delivers in foil trays WITH lids without any spillage. Reheated pizza is not great, but the lasagna was still nice. Of the three desserts we ordered, two were fine, but the chocolate fudge cake was awful. It was gritty and oily will an unpleasant aftertaste. We took the chocolate fudge cake back to Pizza Express and asked for the manager. He listened to our complaints and apologised. He replaced the horrible cake with a brownie which was nice. He also advised the we could comment on the cake using the Deliveroo App, but I can't see how. Overall I'd say use the restaurant, but don't bother with delivery. The restaurant manager helped the situation considerably which was appreciated. Cake aside, the food would have been very good if it had been served hot. For clarity this is no reflection on Deliveroo who did their part of the ordering and delivery well and facilitated the refund of the missing dough balls.

   Do NOT order via Deliveroo!!!! I ordered the family sharer and the pizzas are tiny... literally the size of my hand... I’m over six foot and this is barely a starter... it wasn’t even sliced... and they charge you the same price... ridiculous. Tried to call and they just put you through to make a booking.
