The pizza was excellent and service was really friendly and welcoming. Set menu on weekday lunchtimes is v good value. Only improvement would be a baby changing table.
For a long time we have been going to central London to get a nice pizza but once randomly I’ve ordered San Giorgio and it was pretty good considering it was delivered. Then we have visited the restaurant on two occasions and both times it’s been delightful. We are so pleased to have a local pizzeria offering such a great pizza and service!
Had a lovely lunch at San Giorgio in Abbots Langley. The set menu was great value – generous portions and absolutely delicious. Friendly, attentive staff made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
After seeing other people’s reviews, I had high expectations for this restaurant. While most of the food was delicious, the pizza base was a major letdown. It was 80% burnt at the bottom, making it inedible due to the bitter taste. The top looked great, but the bottom was completely overcooked. I was very disappointed. If the server had asked how the food was, I would have given honest feedback. It seemed like she noticed the burnt pieces I left on the plate but chose to ignore them. I appreciate the wide selection of the appetizers in the lunch menu, and I initially thought the lunch menu was cheaper than other Italian restaurants in town, but after the 12.5% service charge, the price was more or less the same. I expected better based on the reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to them.
Great pizza, awesome flavours, really nice, friendly staff. Spotlessly clean, I'll definitely be back to try some more. Can't wait to see the expansion and taste the goodies.
Just come back from sussex to see my family over the xmas/new year period - My lovely mum took me to a hidden gem of Italian Authenticity. I have been all over uk and the pizza i had was one of the best i have ever experienced, further more most staff and many thanks to Amy looking after us. Happy New Year - 2023 Amit and Honey
We had a pizza here on impulse and so glad we did. The pizza is cooked in a specially imported oven, the flavour is fantastic, forget any pizzas from the typical outlets, this is a real pizza. We also had the gellato which was also brilliant. Dining in is limited but if you can get a seat you'll get the benefit of eating straight from the oven. Will definitely return, we were made to feel very welcome.
So good! Can barely contain my excitement at finding a proper pizza place in the local area. Great service, great prices and, most importantly of all, great pizza!
