Pizza base has absolutely no taste, do not understand why they use such less tomato sauce on the base. Felt like it had none at all.
The place has completely gone downhill. Last time I visited was when it opened so I had a good first impression but wow have things changed. Shop is run down, it seems to be a justeat business, the pizza was terrible with hardly any toppings. The staff were all huddled at the back of the kitchen eating whilst I had to keep asking if my order was ready. There were no othrr customers but they are clearly busy prioritising just eat orders. Staff have no idea on hygiene or customer service. I got violently sick from the pizza also. I will never visit again and would recommend others to stay clear
I had daddy pizza regular size pizza base bread very thin like a pancake topping wasn't great lack any flavour chicken pieces very bland cheese top okay not sure what's so special eating area old school vibes places been open very long time wasn't great experience eating pizza I had top the pizza chilli sauce with it can't understand the hype only good thing HMC certificate on the door busy places definitely not for me
I'll start with the good - Daddy burger was very nice, good size, good flavour. The bad - i don't understand how the chef can make a Margherita Pizza and forget to put sauce on the base. It's literally 2 things - sauce and cheese. The pizza was of course disgusting.
Have to say this place has switched over staff and the new staff dont seem bothered, they take forever to make the food, the calzone was delicious but the daddy burger was stale rubbery and the bun seemed old and hard but lucky the calzone was good, overall if I want a daddy burger will go to the original place in Aston, the place is shabby and run down now not the most inviting or pleasant place and staff have no enthusiasm at all, need to work on some customer service. Also they have menus with the old.prices on so ensure you ask them prices dont rely on the menu price and they do not take card.
A real lovely place to eat for hearty junk food. If you are attending here for the first time, it has to be a Daddy burger. Very filling and delicious. Great staff and thoroughly enjoyed the service.
Very tasty burger meal, and very professional and polite staff. Food is a good price too. Would recommend. Parking can be a bit annoying but it’s worth it.
It’s been year’s since I had been to Broadway 2, due to all these new places opening up everywhere. I wasn’t disappointed with returning after many years to find the food is still great and especially value for money. It’s a bit run down now but once you look over that you do get quality food. I tried my old favourite beef daddy burger and it was amazingly tasty full of flavour and juices. The size of the burger was as I remembered huge and filling. I would highly recommend anyone to revisit this hidden gem.
That Mixed Grill for ONLY £8.99 wasn't only Ginormous, it was also very very Nice! Well worth the Price for such excellent food!! Driver was nice & polite, although he got a bit lost, food was still piping hot & delivered well before the specified time. Milkshakes are lovely & thick as well. 10/10. Recommended
Broadway 2 - lockdown review Food arrived 30 minutes early! I ordered: 1x peri peri chicken burger meal £4 1x american beef burger meal £4 1x daddy gourmet mega stacker burger £9 1× donner burger Meals came with fries & a can of soft drink Well packaged & presentation was nice too & delivered with a smile. Service/packaging/presentation 8/10 Eagerly anticipated since a friend recommended these guys. The food was heavily packaged & I was like a child impatiently peeling his wrapping from his presents. After I finally removed all the layers of wrapping I feasted my eyes on the meals. The daddy gourmet mega stacker stood out from the crowd. To say it was big & heavy (felt like a kilo) would be an understatement, this thing was colossal & increased my wrist strength just by holding it aloft! After contemplating how I would be able to control this beast & how I would wrap my mouth around it, I finally took the plunge.... With my mouth salivating profusely, I duly sank my teeth into it & just closed my eyes momentarily while I chewed & embraced the lovely flavours. The seeded bun was toasted to perfection & tasted good, beneath the bun lay some fresh salad on top of a huge hash brown & below that a huge chunk of chicken breast this process was repeated twice and finally at the bottom was a huge hearty chunk of smashed beef with premium cheese & drenched in a delicious bbq sauce. The hash brown & succulent chicken was sensational but the beef was not to my liking, it lacked the usual beef flavour & taste. But overall it was stupendous 8/10 Peri peri chicken burger was tasty. Salad was fresh n crispy and the huge succulent chicken marinated in peri peri was brill 8/10 The beef burger meal likewise was tasty.
