The food was very good and not too salty. It was just the perfect taste and the service was really good as well.
Got a chef special for takeout. The Channe didn’t have no taste at all, no spice, nothing… rather sweet and the amount of oil in it was ridiculous! Aloo pratha was awful…. No aloo to be seen or tasted. Chai and omelet were ok. Hugely disappointed as it wasn’t my first time (I’ve had your aloo pratha numerous times before) but definitely last. On top of that it took almost 30 mins for it to be prepared even though there were no order Before me.
Went for desi breakfast in the morning. Can't fault it. Was v busy so shows it's v popular. Loved the atmosphere. Lots of ppl, lively. But I think it was because there were groups of ppl there enjoying and having a good time. Loved it
I came for brunch and they didn't disappoint with their large freshly made paratha, chickpeas and omelette. I was looking for a place that sells home made parathas and now I found it. Dining area is small and the decor is average but food and service makes up for this. Would highly recommend you try the desi breakfast. A selection of desserts available too and fresh orange juice and coffee available.
Discovered this place by accident walking around Cheetham Hill. I hadn't had breakfast yet, so gave this place a try. I had the traditional breakfast of Halwa Puree and a Chana Masala. The food quality was good and I didn't have to wait for ages either. At around £5 it was good value for money.
Khan Chai was best cafe around. However, food quality is going down very fast (lightning speed). The main issue is food quality (most of the time served cold and sometime microwaved Gur wali chai). Dear management team please look into this issue and “Fix it”.

I tried the desi breakfast with my friends, ordered desi chai paratha with chanay, egg an omelette. Prices are decent at £5 for paratha, chanay and a tea. Taste wise its decent but the portion of desi breakfast is really small an especially when the paratha is huge. All 3 of us that ordered breakfast had loads of paratha left over. Plus side nice place and family feel. Great location in cheetham hill.
Delicious food! The desi chai was delicious. We really liked the halva and the cake! The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend!
