   Unfortunately I had no choice but to use the disabled toilets in Tesco in sale….. and it’s ridiculous, firstly the toilet is situated so close to the hand dryer that it’s on blowing air on you the whole time your using the toilet, second the toilet roll dispenser is situated behind the blower that I imaging is really difficult for those with mobility issues, third there was no toilet roll in the dispenser as it was in fact sat on the back of the toilet soaked in urine….. because there’s no toilet seat the water when flushed splashes on the back of the toilet where the roll had been placed. Part common sense, part design fault, all the responsibility of management.

   Sharing my experience of customer service at this store (or, lack of!). Bought a hat for my son which ripped after 1 use. Did not retain the receipt as obviously did not forsee this problem, previous hats have lasted years not minutes! Came into store 1 week later with the hat, and explained it was bought in the same store a week ago and I just want to swap it for the same one, I took a new item to the till. Met with exasperated looks, did I not keep my receipt, asked three times if I scanned a clubcard when I purchased, then the cashier had to check with a colleague next to her as the simple swap was proving so difficult for her to grasp.. her colleagues reply "yes we can give you an exchange but not a refund". Thats exactly what I wanted, at no point did I request a refund. The replacement hat was then practically thrown at me across the counter, with no "thanks, bye" or any other acknowledgement. Maybe a "sorry your item is faulty let me see what I can do for you", rather than feeling like i was trying to commit a crime swapping a faulty hat!? (which is totally within their policy) Think some additional training at this store wouldn't go amiss... and a smile..........

   I’d like to share my recent experience at your store which left me quite disappointed. While purchasing two boxes of beer, I was accompanied by my husband, who unfortunately didn’t have his ID. The colleague at the till refused the sale, which I understand. However, even after my husband left the store and I, who had valid ID, attempted to proceed with the purchase alone, I was still refused. In the end, a friend had to step in to complete the transaction. The process felt unnecessarily rigid, and the staff member’s attitude was rather unhelpful. I fully support responsible alcohol sales, but in this case, a little common sense and courtesy would have gone a long way. I hope this feedback can help improve future customer interactions.

   This branch of Tesco's is well located close to Sale town centre and easy access to public transport.it isn't as large as the Extras so even though it has a wide range of stock it doesn't have as much as the larger stores.the staff are usually very friendly and helpful.the current covid situation does at times have an impact on speed of service but that is to be expected at the moment.the only thing I don't like is that kiosk and customer service is combined and is often it only has a single member of staff working which can at times cause a very long wait which can be really annoying when you only want lottery or tobacco.

   An ok Tesco, they don't have as big a collection of clothes or shoes compared to the one in altrincham though. Also the new car park setup is a pain in the rear when it's raining etc.
