Even with the facelift, the store has not put obstacles in the entrance making entering a challenge if more than one person decides to buy something from the entrance fridge or pallets. Next there is the staff, some are lovely, hard working and helpful. Others would rather chat to a colleague for 29 mins and when you approach to ask for help with locating an item as the store layout has changed, they will happily turn their back and walk away. They often appear to break their own fridge to fridge chain by pulling out multiple trolleys that remain unworked for a long period of time. The trolleys block aisles and are often left in inconsiderate positions. I had to relocate a trolley on my last visit as it was literally blocking the end of the aisle to have the member of staff return to it and tut at me as I had moved it in order to get past. Yes, that was another trolley that was left unattended. The carpark upgrades now leaves multiple parking spaces completely inaccessible as the drainage wasn't taken into consideration when they decided to remove additional trolley bays and place kerbs blocking the natural flow of water. I know that Tesco themselves aren't to blamed for this work, however, their estates management should look that if you place obstacles directly in front of the low point for drainage that you'll inevitably end up with ponding in the car park. There appears to be zero monitoring of their electrical charge points as an EV owner. I have once decided to try and charge there only to find them occupied. Firstly by EV vehicles that were not charging that seem to have some sense of entitlement and then the other spaces were occupied by normal vehicles. Not really Tesco's faults but there is supposed to be a clear one-way system which is often abused by many people. But this doesn't help when it's abused by Tesco staff, as happened this morning. The security guards are really nice. Always make the time to say hello to them. The pharmacy is great. The stuff are usually quite quick and often turn prescriptions round significantly quicker than other local facilities.

I've just removed my last post wich wasn't great. Over the last year you have made so many excellent improvements at the checkouts of self service. And lots more around the store. Well done to you all. And I can not stay away when you have shoulder of lamb at £6.50 a kilo, im fed up off leg only being discounted when the shoulder is more flavorful. And my chest freezer has a few bits for Christmas in it. Please do this for Easter as I will have none left. Lol I wish you all a happy Christmas n new year . And thanks again. J lambert

Tried to send email to store not possible came on september 11th at 18:30 at 18:40 witnessed 2 dodgy looking youths dressed in black with arms full of stuff walk into your double doors staff area in back near bread counter then reappear 2 mins later with items stuffed on their person , maybe you should have a keypad to get into staff areas as they clearly do this alot .

Used the toilet here this morning at 9.30 - store had just opened. The ladies toilets were filthy. Toilets not clean at all. Toilet roll all over the floor. The hand soap dispenser was filled with water. Clearly no one has been in there to clean them since they closed at 10pm last night. Awful Had to put one star to do the review but that’s the only reason !

Some friendly staff, others definitely not so. Heard one saying to an elderly customer who was at the reduced aisle 'Get a life'. Stock not always in, can't rely on getting what you want. Narrow, congested aisles, with staff often filling shelves and leaving cages in the way. Looks tired and outdated. Recent fire alarm went off - staff all headed outside without informing customers what was going on and no announcement either. Good job it was a false alarm. Massive car park. Click and collect bays. Lovely, independent coffee shop on same site.

Nostalgic place for me, as my first ever childhood memory was in here buying a Thomas and The Magic Railroad VHS. Aside from that, it is a fairly well run shop, with a clean interior and a wide variety of things to buy. Only gripe is that the items are a bit pricey.

just been to the tesco in edenthrope with my sister who has just had knee surgery so she cannot walk for a long period of time however we took her out so her knee could get some strength. her knee started hurting so we decided to put her in the trolley as we haven’t got a wheelchair yet, we were shopping as usual until a woman ( worker ) told us to get out. she needed help getting out so she waited a few minutes and put her to the side. until another man screamed at us to get out even tho he could see my sister struggling. then we could hear them sighing and talking about us. even tho she can walk she still struggles a lot, we wasn’t messing about at all. tesco workers need to understand hidden disabilities.

Good large Tesco store and not usually very busy. Easily accessible, good car parking, store layout is great. Shelves always well stocked with a good variety of items. Great clothing section. Staff are friendly and helpful, love shopping at Tesco and finding some good clubcard bargains.

Carry a considerable large amount of stock for the size of the store, everything laid out nicely, the self checkouts were a bit troublesome on thr day we visited but other than that was a fabulous experience and would visit again if I was in the area. Fuel station was shut when we visited however but normally is open
