   Stepping throught the doors of the Twisted Teapot Tearoom, is much like Stepping into a story book. If you like a touch of whimsical and the magical, this is for you! Every detail is a surprise and delight, books galore hang from the ceilings, clocks of every size and shape and even the unmistakable wardrobe from Narnia - which leads to the restroom- lamp-post and all. The owners and their team are passionate about delivering an amazing experience for you. A sparkling drink awaits your arrival ( overlooked by Mrs Pots and her son Chip, a little nod to Beauty and the Beast). The starters, savoury and sweet selections are beautifully presented. You can also delight in the fact that each course comes with a huge selection of drinks, ( The hot chocolate was to die for). If you can't finish everything, your hosts will provide you with a goodie bag to take home. Definitely be opening the pages of this walk in wonderland again.

   What a fantastic place! We loved the decor and all the quirky touches - it’s clear to see how much care, time and thought has gone into it. The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The owner and all the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

   We did the wreath making last Christmas and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were so helpful and made everyone feel welcome. The cakes were delicious and we can’t wait to book for this year! We will also be looking out for the Halloween event as my daughter will love it!

   A magical place where you are made to feel just as magically special!! The decor is amazing with so much character and fun! There is so much to see and the quirkiness is just the best! We had a lovely afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches & cakes. There was more than enough for the 3 of us, so much so that we could not finish what was there. Do not fear, you are given a goodie box for what you do not finish to take home with you….much to my husbands delight! A little gem of a place, family run and you can see how much love and care has gone into creating a wonderful space. Will definitely be back!! Thank you Twisted Teapot! ❤️

   Had a take out a while back, place is really cute, food is really really good, cakes are divine don't get me wrong it's a little pricey at first glance but completely worth it, understandable when you get the food though its had serious thought into it. I was recommended by our neighbour and they was spot on to do so. I hope this place stays open for a long time I really do, the amount of work and effort that they put into this little place is brilliant. Staff are really friendly and polite and kind of make you feel "special" if you get my drift, like nothing is too much to ask. Not much to be happy about around barnsley anymore but little gems like this make you think theres some decent places/people left here. Definitely deserves a 5 stars.
