   Used to be better but seems to be going downhill recently. Middle aisles are a mess and are not getting all the special buys in that are advertised. Also you can't get down the aisles when staff are putting stock out. I thought it was just a one off but it's like this regularly now. I used to love going in and there was the added bonus of the special buys but would rather go elsewhere now.

   Excellent selection of fresh produce and consistently high quality. Prices are hard to beat, and the middle aisles stay stocked with a wide variety of seasonal finds. The wine range, in particular, offers outstanding value and quality.

   I visited Aldi York Road Leeds today 6/9/25. It was an incredible experience and staff member called KAT was phenomenally fantabulous. She went the extra mile to help me and was efficient, knowledgeable and remarkable. She listened to my query patiently and resolved it immediately. I came out of Aldi with a joyful smile to have met KAT who considers her job a vocation and goes the extra mile with a smile. Aldi please convey my heart felt gratitude to this amazing staff member .    Every time I go in here its the same. The cashiers stop scanning to have a chat! With either the customer they are serving, a colleague, or someone they know walking by!!! And the faces on them when you say no to using the self serve checkout! Yeah sure, I'll do the work YOU GET PAID TO DO while you do nothing! Not sure why they look like Easyjet check in staff either! The bloke who is a cashier is sound. Just does his job without thnking he needs to order people around! He is the 1 star Awful staff

   Would've been 5 stars but since the refit it is awkward to get to things in the enclosed shelving. No consideration has been given to the space the doors take up into the Isles and of how much manoeuvring people in wheelchairs or mobility scooters have to do. Sliding or no doors would have been better.

   This supermarket is always well stocked & normally quite busy. Pretty cheap too. Only 4 aisles & about 6 tills, though they've recently added 8 self- checkouts. Excellent fresh produce section & good for deli, ready meals, freezer section & alcohol. Lots of low cost basics & staples. Bakery section could use some work. Big car park. Open 7 days & most evenings.

   Must say their fruit and veg goes off on your way home. It's okay for most things but if you like something get it while you can as you may not see it again. Slightly cheaper shop but the British shops beat it hands down.
