   I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I went to buy some drinks that were listed under the Clubcard price, and as usual, I showed a clear photo of my Clubcard (which has always been accepted without issue). However, the staff member at the till a heavyset gentleman , refused to apply the discount, insisting that only a physical card is allowed. He stated, quite abruptly, “This is the last time you can pay the Clubcard price,’ but then proceeded to charge me the full amount anyway. There was zero customer service offered , no explanation, no help, just rudeness. I’ve been using this method for a long time without any problem, so the sudden refusal without warning or courtesy was extremely frustrating. Very poor service overall. This kind of treatment makes loyal customers feel unvalued.

   My main issue was with one of the security guards. I came into the shop looking for some snacks but there was nothing I liked. As I tried to leave the store, this guy aggressively stopped me and started grabbing my pockets forcing me to take out my belongings without my consent. He also gave me extremely dirty looks and refused to apologise for his unprofessional conduct. I did absolutely nothing to warrant this behaviour because I did not harass anyone nor did I display any suspicious behaviour. I refuse to come here again.

   I like the Carr's Lane Tesco, it's very convenient, it's opposite the bus stops, and only a a short distant fro Moore Street Station and to the right of more street you have the Grand Central which on the ground level there is New Street Station. The staff at Tesco are friendly a d the cost is reasonable.

   Everytime there a heat wave the fridges neever work so then your finding a diffrent tesco to get your lunch.... Really tesco international copy can't get it right.... Hmmmm

   Mike and Ishara are stars they always make my morning, Ishara is a lovely women with great customer service, Mike is always helpful and cheery before 7am. The only downfall is the new security guard unapproachable and follows around store considering I spend there 7 days a week it's quite disappointing, there is a difference between being present and being watched

   Store had very helpful staff and easy to use self service checkout. Even earned some chocolatey goodness for free for taking a quick survey which is always a bonus. Hand sanitizer was available upon entry.
