   I want to give a huge thank you to Lauren at the Tesco Mobile Birmingham New Street branch. She helped my Mom today at 2:22 pm with upgrading her plan as she needed more data, and the whole process was absolutely amazing. Lauren was friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made everything simple and stress-free, and my mom left feeling confident and happy with her new plan. It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely goes above and beyond, but Lauren truly did. We’re really glad to be with Tesco Mobile, and it’s staff like Lauren who make the experience exceptional. Thank you for the brilliant service!

   Solid local Tesco Express — does exactly what you need it to. Popped in for a quick top-up shop and they had everything I was after: fresh milk, snacks, bread, a decent meal deal, and even a few essentials for the flat. Shelves were well-stocked and the store was clean and organised. Staff were friendly and quick at the till — even during a bit of a queue it moved fast. Self-checkouts worked fine too. It’s open late which is super handy, especially if you're grabbing bits after work or late at night. Obviously it’s not a full supermarket, so limited range on some items, but for an Express store, it’s spot on. Quick, easy, reliable.

   Avocados were labelled £1.50 with club card but was told it was labelled wrongly after payment where the discount was applied. Went to another Tesco express nearby as was told by the staff the labelling was correct, meaning the club card discount should be applied. So this Tesco store is just scamming people ?    This Tesco Express is a two-story store that’s perfect for grabbing everyday items in a hurry. Need milk, bread, or something for dinner? You’ll find it here. And guess what? There are lots of self-checkout machines, so you can zip in and out super fast. Plus, if you need help, the staff is really friendly.

   A nice and convenient store in the city centre for picking up items while busy. There are lots of self-service tills so you can get in and out very quickly with a meal deal or whatever takes your fancy. The staff are helpful if needed, and of course you can give your clubcard points a little boost here too.

   Tesco has gone mad! I went here to buy 4 cucumbers as I work in a nearby hotel and we needed some. I was confronted at checkout by a staff member who pretty much shouted at me with her arms flapping about saying I'm not allowed more than 3 cucumbers. She made an absolute show of herself. She talked to me in such an aggressive way. Apparently it's company policy to by 3 or less. Where are the signs stating this. It's a cucumber darling............ I'm not trying to purchase a nuclear weapon. In future our hotel will not use your store. To the management.........please educate the staff on CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

   I have been shopping here for over five years with no issues whatsoever. Last week I came across an extremely rude and hostile member of staff as seen in my photos. He refused to let any customers upstairs 15 minutes before closing time and blocked the escalators with a trolley. He was standing by the escalators himself asking everyone to explain why they wanted to go upstairs, was rushing and harassing everyone to finish up quickly at 10 whole minutes before closing while shopping downstairs as well. He had clearly decided that they wanted to close the till early this day. Extremely unprofessional and hostile behaviour which made me so uncomfortable overall. If the team doesn’t feel like working until the closing time, they should have come to work that day. 10 minutes is plenty of time to finish up your shopping without any need to rush and harass the customers. This member of staff is not fit to be working with the way that he has behaved towards customers. He refused to tell me his name. I would like to discuss my concerns further with a store manager as I will be able to identify the member of staff and would be grateful if this can be arranged, would you kindly reply with an email or direct contact details so that I can get in touch?    The location is great, right in the middle of the city center. However, on the hingeside it gets very crowded. You will have to navigate and search your groceries on the two floors. The staff is okay, checkout was done pretty quickly.
