Was falsely accused of stealing by staff member who aggressively grabbed what I was carrying from behind when - and this is the key part - when I was walking in the completely different direction to the front door. Generally the staff don't seem to have a clue and would not recommend the place.
Girl at till didnt look up from her phone once whilst scanning my stuff through. I get that its retail, its crap and most customers also don’t look up from their phone but really doesn’t look good. You can go on your ohone on your break, when there’s no customers or in half an hour when you’re closed.
I work in the hospitality industry close to this Tesco and go every day/night and tonight went on my break at 22.40 so I could go to Tesco for a meal deal and they stoped letting people in I got outside at 22.42 as I work next door. I was refused service and was told it was closed as other members of the public were in there. I am a regular at this Tesco express and I think closing early takes the piss when your closing hours are different online. Staff are rude and so is the security guard I am a sober guy just trying to grab a meal deal on his break at work and I’m not the type of person to leave a review but the way I was treated at the door I am fuming tbh.
Impossible to check out. They wouldn't let my friend buy an energy drink until they Id'd both him and me (We are both 20 and had our university lanyards on). Because 'we walked in together'. So dumb. We had to also wait because there was only one member of staff by the tills, for 5 tills.
Great store, lots of option, security guard and so kind, helpful service.
Fast with the basic that you could need
The self service tills at this Tesco are by far the worst in the entire city, they almost never accept my club card. It’s about time that they are upgraded to the standard of the other supermarkets. The poor staff are constantly having to assist customers due to their faulty equipment.
A lovely shop, and a great customer service, always clean and tidy, with plenty to choose from. You can notice a great change in the last month keep up the good service
Garbage customer service. Stood waiting at the tills for a couple of minutes while a colleague was going round the shop scanning stuff while looking at me and ignoring me. Left without buying anything because didn't want to be late for work
Not too busy and quick self service checkouts, friendly staff
