The new revamp is excellent, been my local grocery store for 40 years I remember it when it was just no 4 battye Street (single shop) and no units at back either, over the years the shop has moved forward with time, very clean now, excellent customer service, staff are polite and respectful, love the fresh veg and fruit section my fave part and ofcourse the butchers definitely 5☆
I used to get chicken and meat from here all the time spent £50 a week with them just on meat and chicken. For the fifth time now they have served off sour smelling chicken even though each time I will tell them are you sure this is fresh and they say yes, their excuse is the bags we put them in smell. What an excuse! No plastic bags leave a sour smell on chicken. This was the last chance I gave them and I will never come again. What a waste of £20 all my chicken breasts were off! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
