   I have to say what a great place this is! Service was outstanding! We told them it was my daughter’s birthday before going so they had balloons around the table. They went above and beyond when the kids didn’t want Sunday dinner and made 3 different dishes for the 3 kids. The. Brought out a desert with candles at the end! Will definitely be coming regularly!

   Went there this tea time for a meal, it was great! Lovely food, excellent service from Elliot, and the pub had a nice friendly atmosphere as well. £40 for two huge mains (fish and chips, mac and cheese), two puddings (Biscoff cheesecake), a lemonade and a glass of water, fantastic value!

   This was our first time here and we will absolutely be back again, the Sunday roast was one of the best I have ever had, the staff are great and the food was served so quickly. Thank you so much for such a lovely dinner, really big portion, plenty of gravy and all cooked to perfection!

   Oh, wow. Off the back of a FB recommendation by Richard Tree, we decided to treat my father and also my brothers visiting friend from the US to a nice pub lunch at the Airedale Heifer, Mirfield - I rang ahead to check if we could get a table for half two. As it happened, the doors opened shortly before then and Ashley, the brand new landlady, was on her own, looking after the venue which she had only just taken on board, running the place. She warmly welcomed us, gave us a background to her taking on the venue and then took to the kitchen to cook a monster order we gave her. Me and Paul had the Mega Meat Platter, Carol had the Buttermilk Chicken Burger and Caroline had the five starter dishes deal - a lot of food for the lot of us with any excess heading to dads small plate to nibble at. While the Platters were all incredible, and Carol gave the chicken burger a solid thumbs up, the standout for us was the Fried Cauliflower Wings with Ginger and Soy Sauce - truly moreish and I couldn’t stop picking at them, even when the stunning meats had filled me up (the chicken was a highlight, utterly buttery). The Airedale is a great venue with a cracking bar, a marvellous menu and a very warm welcome: highly, highly recommended.

   Checked website to make sure it’s open . Yes it is !! Taxi dropped me off and it was shut and also raining , great . If nothing else upgrade your website. Not doing yourselves any favours

   After driving past The Airdale Heifer a few times and thinking that it looks like areally nice pub, we decided to go for Saturday tea - on arriving there wasn't any cars in the car park which we though "oh dear not a good sign" however we decided to still go in. Lovely welcome from staff, the food we had was really good from the sports bar menu basically burgers and hot dogs, not what I was hoping for having looked at the menu on line !!! would definitely go back though as the food was good quality and very tasty.
