Shop is clean, staff are friendly, well stocked and plenty of parking spaces.

Cafe needs a manager - no cups, no warm drink takeaway cups - no milk in drinks machine - hot drinks are just luke warm - no mashed potato at lunchtime - no remote order machine working, just one person on tile and serving tables, very sad customer service when a bacon and egg sandwich with a hot choc costs nearly a tenner! You certainly know how to charge but not to supply a service

Big shout out to the Asian security guard that was working 30/12/25 in the Afternoon. He went out of his way to find my little one a kiddie's shopping trolley to push around (which he didn't have to do) after we couldn't find one. He even told us to go do our shopping and he'll find us and bring the Trolley to us. A big thank you kind sir.

I really dislike this run down store. Queues for self checkout are ridiculous. I've just had the displeasure of trying to get a single carrier bag and it seems there's a solo (stressed) member of staff holding onto them like a gatekeeper and I was told she had to deal with another customer before I could get my single bag. Just hang them near the tills! Then I needed a tag taking off an item. Had to again find this solo member of staff who's tutting at everyone. Awful. Same place that once asked my 87 year old Grandma if she'd paid for her shopping. (She was stood near the cafe after paying). Yes she showed her receipt, no she didn't get an apology. Awful place and thankfully only somewhere I've had to nip in if I'm collecting my relatives medication in the chemist next door. From now on even if it's only a pint of milk needed, I'm not bothering. As for my Gran, she now uses M&S across the carpark. Better customer service over there and according to her - cheaper for veg too.

I have removed my last review from when we visited the cafe last year. WHAT A CHANGE. Very clean tables are empty staff seem less stressed out. Most importantly the coffee machines are brand new AND YHEY WORK !!!. we had a latte and it is very creamy and hot. I don't know what's happened but it has happend for the best we will be revisit in the future.

I visited yesterday to do some food shopping and called in the cafe for Sunday lunch and this cost £7 and this is what came out the carrots were cold the beef was cold and out of a packet Yorkshire pudding cold and potatoes warm. This would not have filled my grandson I did not eat this and gave it to my father to fill his plate up its a good job he doesn't mind cold food I could not eat this I was very disappointed.

Morrisons cafe small breakfast is now on a side plate, yes seriously. £4.50 isn't much money, I know, but it is so small we had to have a bun to fill up. 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, beans in a small dish, 1 slice of toast. Nope.

We waited an hour in click and collect before someone came out to greet us, went into store twice to be told to go out and wait in our car, after someone had come out took our name they went back in and another half hour before they came out with our stuff. This was Christmas deserts etc we received 4 items which wasn’t even the main ones, to be told the other items had been picked over earlier in the day and we could have collect anytime?? I’m sorry but if we’re booking a slot 7-8pm then we expect our order to fully be there and saved for us as it’s what we have chosen!!

Great staff, always got what I’ve needed in store. Shelves always stacked up. Just need more variety on the pasta

Visited this morning with my toddler in tow to grab a few bits. Amongst my £60 spend we're two birthday cards for my husband from myself and our son. When I was checking out, they wouldn't scan using the barcode provided on the card. The assistant got flustered and said twice she needed a barcode, but I wasn't in a position to leave my toddler, or traipse a trolley back through the shop past her busy queue. She didn't call for help or offer any assistance with my purchase. In the end I said just leave them. Immediately she said ok, clearly not interested in helping me out or my custom. This is the second time this has happened in this store, and it seems the staff aren't able to deal with processing items that don't scan. They're regularly overstretched, snappy and generally show a lack of regard for their customers. I won't bother going from now on.
