This place should be raised to the ground and turned into marsh land. It would have more use. They arranged an appointment for me & sent me a letter with the details of that appointment , 4 days after i should have been there. Due to there utter incompetancy I then had to wait over a month for another appointment which meant taking an unpaid day off work & they have just rang with less than 48 hours notice to say the person assessing me is off so they are cancelling. apparently there is one person on the whole north west or circus of the NHS that can see me ? They are seriously shocking & continually rated. inadequate by the. CQC. When people are going through the worst times in their live, the evil to the story is, you then get sent to this lot who could not run a bath let aloene a mental health service staff also could not care any less if they tried, & dont try and ring them as you will take years to get through & they certainly wont return your calls or voicemails If a minus 5 was possible as a rating, they would be well deaerving of that.

Complex patients are treated in a disgusting manner by more than half the staff. Neglect is the norm in McCartney house, they are void of compassion, lack empathy and upto date knowledge of treatments and conditions. If I could go elsewhere I would but unfortunately this is my only option

Had an emergency appointment made for my son today. He was really nervous and anxious but at least he turned up. Got there early and was told it had been cancelled? Apparently this is because he had his October appointment brought forward to next month, that's nice of them. Why didn't they have the decency, respect to phone him to tell him that before he got there? It seems that the mental health service don't really care about a person's health and wellbeing. I will be taking it further now because my son deserves better.

Dire! No empathy from staff, awful reception (can hear everything they say to other patients) the place needs some sound, music or TV in the tiny waiting area. It's an awful place....doesn't do anything to calm your nerves while sitting waiting. Dr I seen had no empathy and seemed to have decided what my problem was before I'd even sat down. Meds sent to pharmacy after 4 weeks, with no further appointments given. I give up!!

Foundation nhs as in foundation ain't built and I get what I pay for! Another diabolical incompetent untrustworthy service with no logic! If I could afford the very best highest quality medical health care I'd go private. Circuits needs disconnecting because the system is rigged! General Medical Council numbers need to be given. Whistleblowers needed! Minus zero rating from Me! Cheecky cow kimberly on reception needs sacking with other members of staff because retraining them all is waste of more money and time!

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. There Is no explanation for the incompetence, I called up on behalf of a family member and spoke to someone who is supposedly called kim.. wouldnt be surprised if she was lying. Nothing but blunt rude responses like she was sat at the computer twiddling her thumbs, I honestly dont get how they hire such dunce people to work in such a place. No one was helpful there and no one wants to do their jobs. I've realised that in the mental health sector majority of them dont do their jobs correctly because they have not an ounce of care for it. Disgusting and unempathetic.

The staff are all friendly and helpful. I was very happy with the professional manner that I was dealt with. They gave me lots of advice and support, something which I really needed and appreciated. I want to thank everyone at Macartney House. You definitely make a difference to people's lives!

McCartney house do an amazing job. Clive one of the psychologists is amazing with what he does to help people. Their is a waiting list but the treatment is well worth waiting for. It is team work and you have to work together but the team are highly skilled and the best in Manchester! Thank you Clive and McCartney house.
