A week ago, my car stopped working after shopping in Tesco. The manager, Jake was really helpful! Went as far as starting my car up, and sorting a tyre out! Thank you so much for your help! Really appreciate it.
Paid to park on 27th for 2hrs, on August 2025. Showed as completed and entered reg correctly. Was there for 50 minutes. Now got a parking fine of £100 as payment shown as not taken. Parked everywhere else using same payment method successfully.
Gotta say, the new security is absolutely spot on! Proper friendly and helpful, does his job really well and always asks before doing anything – really respectful bloke. Lovely fella with a black beard, think he might be the permanent one there now. Me and my husband popped by and he greeted us like we were his own mum and dad – honestly, that’s how everyone should be treated. Top man!
I’ve been to better Tescos! But parking is a little limited and for a superstore, a little small… Other than that it’s just as reliable and staff are friendly!
Great prices but the selections are limited to be called ‘superstore’ compared to other Tesco Superstores. Most staff are friendly and helpful, however I once met one staff who’s so rude, I try avoiding him everytime I come to the store
Often have stock issues on different products, especially carrying bags and vegs, e.g. tomatoes
Bad I applied for job in this Tesco after assessment I passed and I got call from manager name Sam. Question was : are you study ? No Can I work till midnight? Yes Are you working right now ? No After this questions I think is basic and I get shocked receive email unsuccessful I think this manager discriminated in this way. And really I looking for to make a complaint regarding this situation.
Apart from a few items that I could see being available in the app for this store, which weren't really available, this store has quite a variety of all kinds of things you would want for a quick grocery run. The staff is nice and helpful esp. the gentleman, who if I'm not mistaken works as security there, he was really kind.
Sadly this Tesco is ruined by the car-park outside that is the worst sign-posted pay & display car-park that I've ever seen. If you're driving, then choose another store, where Tesco own the car-park! This store is convenient for students, and those on foot, but I'll never drive there again! Tesco would not help me to fight the parking fine that I received while shopping there.
Definitely not a Superstore, it has the same feel as all supermarkets had about thirty years ago. It's conveniently located, and has a decent enough selection for a quick twenty pound shop. Basically, it does the job.
