I don't know what's going on at this store recently but they need to do something about the volume of the music being played. It's bad enough to have music playing in the first place but the past few weeks they've been blasting it out so loud you can't hear yourself think, customers are having to literally shout to hear each other. And while I'm here moaning the service on the tills is an abomination, usually only 1 till open with queues can can stretch back down the shopping aisles and when they do eventually ping for another till to be opened it takes forever for someone to come. Outside the store the drains are blocked causing lakes of water to form with all the litter from the car park floating around in it. It really is not a good look. The manager of this store needs to get a grip, it's been a shambles for years, this is not the German efficiency people expect from a German business. Sort it out Lidl!!.

I am commenting on the Brettell lane branch. I use Lidl because yes of course they are good value over all and yes the bakery is a nice bonus. All that said; I am so annoyed at the customer service side of this business or should I say lack of it. they seem to run the shop on a shoe string with minimum staff. The main complaint I have is the staffing of the tills or again lack of open tills. They are far far too slow to open a second till and by the time someone does arrive it's mostly too late to have relieved the situation. Profit before service seems to be the order of the day.

Mean nasty female staff. Small blonde female, and rosy faced female who always treat me with passive aggressive spite. The payment system is always understaffed. The Deluxe foodstuffs are as good as those of Waitrose and cheaper. The breads I enjoy.

I visited Lidl today for some shopping, and unfortunately for the first time since I started shopping there, the customer service was incredibly poor. From the moment she began scanning my items , her attention was entirely focused on talking to another person. When I asked for my receipt, she brought it out looking away without eye contact. This felt unprofessional and rude. A little courtesy won't demean her.

Poor experience today. Asked for help in locating special offer item. Initially couldn't find anyone on shop floor. I was directed to staff member on meat . Asked him to help me, he told me if I had a good look and it wasn't there then it was sold out. I was surprised at his, attitude

Mixed views some staff are pleasant, others border ignorant. Shelves reasonably well stocked but can be shortfalls at times.

Great shopping experience. Popped in as a change to Aldi. Great prices and selection of products. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were great and hardly no queue on the tills ... Unlike Aldi! Will definitely be returning to this store.

Well stocked but need to allow more time to shop so you have time to compare prices. Unfortunately some items are a bit pricey - I think we shall all soon be shopping as people did before the introduction of supermarkets by going to several shops to get your purchases at the best price.

Went into the amblecote store this morning Sunday 28th at aprox 10am. First time Iβd ever been in and the lastβ¦β¦. I was collecting shopping for work. I saw a pack of tomatoβs which were green mouldy with fur on inside the bag. So I thought rather than leave them Iβd just give to the cashier as it wasnβt pleasant. Liquid was running out this pack. I handed them to the cashier before she scanned my shopping and politely pointed out these were prob missed so thought I was doing a good turn. Wished I hadnβt bothered. Pity EHO didnβt go in β¦!The cashier snatched them out my hand without a word.Absolutely nothing. That wasnβt the only incident I put my shopping on conveyor which was for my work place. She scanned this. I had put the bar across for next customer. Which was my own little bit of shopping paying seperate I had a French stick she pushed this through. With my first lot of shopping. I asked have you scanned this with the first lot. She abruptly replied no. So I pushed it back on the conveyer to pay with my own shopping she then angrily moved it again. I will never return to your store customer service is dire. Iβm sure if you check your cameras you will see exactly how your cashier was with me today. 25 years I have worked in hospitality so I know how customer service should be. Maybe she was having a bad day but the day had only just started dread to think what her attitude would be at lunch time. Hope this gets addressed. Please check your cameras

It's a supermarket *shrug* The fresh bread is very good though. Lorry parked unsafely outside wasn't ideal though, queues of traffic and no way to cross the road without walking dangerously close to the front of a running cab (I couldn't see the cab was empty until having crossed).
