Go to the Sainsbury’s at the Moor if you don’t want to deal with rude staff.

Never had an issue coming to this Sainsbury’s I literally live above it. 1 staff member particularly told me that if “I don’t like it then I should not come here’ as I was leaving the shop.” All because I keep getting ID’ed in the shop by this same lady. No other staff member seems to id me when I clearly look over 25. For a redbull. I simply said I’m in here every single day. And have no issues with any other stay member. And that it feels personal. As I literally was walking out to leave after purchasing my things. A staff member muffled under her breath that if I don’t like it here don’t come back in such a horrible tone. I don’t know what sort of service this is when this is the first time I have ever had an employee speak to customer like this. And what made it worse when I asked her what she said she chose to repeat herself and then continue to argue with me in-front of a whole shop full of customers. I don’t understand how this is acceptable. And how she even feels entitled to speak to a customer like that. I will be making a complaint and I will be speaking to her managers. Little did she know I recorded the whole thing.

Usually have a pleasant experience in this store but today I had to leave my items unattended for 30 seconds because there were barely any bags available so I had to get one at the closest till and I returned to a male member of staff removing my items. I explained what I was doing and was bluntly told "don't leave your till unattended or someone will use it". I'm sure there would have been a politer way to deal with this. Very unhelpful, he didn't even apologise.

Very rude and unprofessional service. To the managers: your shift from 27th September working between 4:00pm and 4:10pm is a disaster. Blond girl cashier and pseudo security guy with a hat on his head and mask on his face. (He afraid to be recognize after work). I know they earn minimum wages and they frustrated by doing their jobs but it is not customers problem that they can not find better work. I just want to do quick shopping with smile on my face and do not want to be treat in this rude and unkind way just because I am nice person.

If you happen to be making a video call as you enter, security will stop and you hassle and harass you and demand that you stop before entering the shop. This despite there not being any written policy against making a video call. Very rude, intimidating security who also create false laws and try and gaslight members of the public. Security also fail to abide by the SIA licensing regulations and hide their SIA license badge and hide their faces.

It has good range of Asian foods. Interesting thing is I found the new type of fast check-out machine has a mini scale which I didn’t find for the same type machine in London.
