Super slow service. Takes around 20 min to get served for just a coffee. Not sure what takes so long as food is not being prepped only heated and drinks being made. Despite the line being long this could have been a shorter wait - staff is very slow!
Debbi here forgot my order and she had the audacity to show me a board saying she has the right to deny me services if i am being rude. Note I was not being rude at all. All I did was confronted her about lying. Instead of apologies for missing my order and serving 4 customer before me who came after me she had didn't apologise and insted showed me they have started working on it and there are lots of customer. Also she thinks her job is not to serve customer with compassion but to protect her team from customer. Either she should quite her job or u should retrain her. I am not a difficult customer to handel and I am sure we would have let go if she would have simply apologised about missing our order. But Debbi had to protect her team from right customer's. No wonder almost all the ratings apart from me have also have given 1 start. If they are trained to be rude my Debbie.
On 12 may. I came in and there were 2 ladies , one younger and one older and more mature , the older one totally had a lack of customer service , she was talking to another customer for 5 minutes and then ended up serving the person that came next to me . Totally disgraceful attitude, I did not say a word as I did not want to create a scene over a cup of coffee. Staff need to be more alert to their customers.
I order flat white with one pump of caramel. I received one shot flat white, no caramel. When I come back to the store and when I said I received wrong coffee young girl give me rude look and she remake my coffee but I get latte with flat white shot and milk wasn't been full fat how it should be and of course was extra hot. Poor customer service and they don't follow costa standards, also is a shame they have only sugar free syrups or they just lied to me. At the end I lost my money and I didn't drink coffee. I won't back to this store again
Takes ages to get served, waited about 15mins in a long line. One staff member doing his best to his credit, but the other one casually cleaning when it's obvious she should jump on the machine and help clear the queue. People waiting were not amused... The manager needs to tell staff everyone must serve when the line gets beyond 3 or 4 people. Obvious customer service isn't it? Returned a week later and same scenario, about a dozen people waiting forlornly. It's also not fair on the employees that they're being left understaffed and having to deal with unhappy customers staring back at them. Manager must get a grip.
Don't go there, not worth the wait in Kew, better go to the hospital cafeteria.
Poor customer service..... Staff are selling to their customers a day or two old pastries as freshly baked (happen to me!!!) Definitely not going to be back !
A useful resource. No serviettes in view. Mini coffee plus mini tea £5.30. The sizes shown on the counter by customers but prices are on far wall. Neither I nor my companion could read them. So easy to put the prices by the illustrations of the sizes. Then we could make an informed choice.
Worst Costa by far! Staff and rude and unhelpful. Considering this is in a hospital the last thing people need is rude staff! They are not a proper Costa, they don't take Amex like most Costa's. They don't do Premium Filter coffee either. They are also a lot more expense b then usual Costas. I understand it's a prime location but its extortionate what they charge. People have to pay as options are limited and they are usually worried about being with sick loved ones! Had the new Christmas drink only to open it and find it half full and no cream. Very very disappointed!
