Honestly never imagined I would be a Karen enough to review a Co op however this particular store is shocking!!! I work in town and so have to go in most days so please understand this is 18 months of being frustrated on a daily basis. Massively understaffed, queues to back of store every single day, why! All those check outs and never more than one person serving and taking soooooo long at it. And don't get me started on that annoying alarm that's constantly going off the whole time your trapped in the slowest moving queue known to man. They never apologise about the wait, and scan your stuff leaving it far away from the glass and expect you to basically climb under the glass to retrieve the items you bought. Honestly the worst convenience store ever. And I don't mean co op, I mean this one particular co op store. Put some self check outs in for the love of God, I hate self check outs but my word this store needs them because the slow service that never improves leaves everyone feeling suicidal for a pint of milk

Just a normal shop. You need to walk to it because it's on a high street. But it's literally yards. Your also able to drive and park near it on the high street. But it's where people walk so would only advise after most shops close. Less people walking.

There's 6 tills but only ever 1 till open, this is on a morning when people are on their way to work making them late daily! Staff who are serving seem to have long conversations with people they know rather than serving customers quickly and effectively. Also never happy about cashing winning lotto tickets even though they do lottery! Constantly getting told not enough cash in till, that's not the customers problem,at least sound polite when fobbing customers off saying they can't cash tickets,if a store has national lottery symbol then customers should expect to be able to cash them there also!

I was initially going to be going to Tesco this evening over the road. However for no reason known Tesco was shut. I am chronically ill with 3 different pain conditions with no car and needing some odds and ends. Closing time stated on the front of co-local is 10pm at 9.45 the door was locked and entry was being refused. After informing a member of staff at the door she then proceeded to say that Tesco being shut is not her issue and still refusing entry. There was 2 other groups of people there at the time. I will be taking this up with trading standards and I will be thinking twice before ever shopping here again.

Nice food reasonably priced. Clean and tidy. if you can't find what your looking for they probably don't have it. I've asked a couple of times for things I can't find and asked staff all they say is we don't have it.

The shop itself is decent, can get your essentials and hasore variety than the nearby tesco. Just a shame about all the kids that litter the parade, hassling passersby and smashing things up.

One particular member of staff is constantly rude! Not what you need at end of a much harder and longer working day than her's! Range not bad for a small shop. Unfortunately the staff for whatever reason have been given headsets. Whilst I was attempting to get served the lady was busy asking the manager to reserve her some discounted HAM and completely ignoring me. Unfortunately she can't multitask so getting served was a drawn out procedure. Very rude in my opinion.

Great place. "Most" staff are nice and friendly. Always stocked up. Great for little shops.

Great shop but the till service really does differ greatly depending on who you get. Most staff are friendly and great but there is one lady there that is just plain miserable...doesnt help you pack, rarely speaks to you and just makes you wish you had gone to tescos instead.
