Disgusted with this dental surgery! Have been with them 5 years plus. Cancelled an appointment on day of appointment because I had a high temperature. Got a very abrupt text message later in the day to say been deregistered reason " Sat 27 Jan 2024 at 1:30PM. As per our policy, if you miss 2 consecutive appointments or cancel your appointment on the same day, you will be deregistered" How can you know the day before you are going to wake up with a temperature! Another dentist who doesn't want nhs patients

Terrible experience …. One of the girls working there has a very bad attitude … very rude and not at all helpful. They close from 1-2 and, we can only know that if we go on their website, otherwise, you stand out there in the rain on the wheelchair . When you call their phone says that, they’re closed and won’t open till next day. That message is ongoing even over weekends . They put the shutters down for lunch and no notices on there to say they’re at lunch . The girl thinks she’s doing us a favour by being there .. I only go there because, it’s convenient for me to take my mother and, the previous dentist was amazing . He was very very good . The dentist now is okay , smiles and is polite but, not happy with treatments …

I phoned the surgery today (10/09/2025) I was enquiring about the referral I had requested over 2 yrs ago, apparently it didn't go through. The dentist who requested it no longer runs the surgery. Because I hadn't been there for a while they removed me from the system and claimed I told them I'd moved. Conveniently they are now NOT accepting NHS patients, considering this is pretty much a low income area.

Terrible place! Don’t no how they are still open! Really rude receptionist, was on the phone with her head phones in while dealing with patients, loud music, and rude attitude! The dentist himself was not very informative, or helpful. Avoid this place! My appointment was at 2 when I got there the shutters where down, I called and no reply. They finally opened the shutters 2.10 and said they were on lunch. Called on a separate occasion receptionist hanged up on me whilst I was talking. Dentist is always on holiday!

I had an appointment booked, and this was confirmed by email. When I arrived the dentist was closed - shutters down. I called several times - no answer - I called the next day - Friday and spoke to a very apologetic receptionist. No reason was given for the cancelled appointment nor did I receive a text or email to say it was cancelled. I had a call from a receptionist at the dentist today (NOT THE SAME ONE AS FRIDAY - to make that clear), Monday 2.20pm - who only give me a reason for the closure when I asked - this was that the dentist went home early - this is an unacceptable reason. When I told the receptionist I had to find another dentist to fix my tooth she put the phone down on me. How bloody rude. I called back and asked why and she said, that I told her to take me off the books - obviously doesn't listen to what patients say - she has a bad attitude and is a very rude human. A years course in Customer Service would not go amiss. I will be complaining to a higher authority.

I use to work there, the most unorganised back dated place I've ever put my feet in to, dentist is well lost for sure, hygiene and safety could be an issue, the main receptionist was just making it home, inviting her family over for a chat.

Never seen in time. Receptionist not come this morning and assistant late for 15 min, "doctor dentis" sit and fill blanks on computer and answer and book calls by himself, but not take care of their patients. Must be seen at 9, walk away at 9:20 because dentist dont like my and my husband opinion about covid vaccination.

my "dentist" (term used loosely) appointment was at 9 with my whole family. the only two workers were late, the receptionist just filled in blanks on his computer instead of paid attention to his patients sitting waiting for their already late appointment. he then asked whether I have gotten a covid vaccine (which he had no right to do) and got angry when I spoke against it. he then started yelling at me and giving me attitude. would not recommend.

Worst dental surgery! Had a very bad experience where the dentist pulled out my daughter’s teeth with no forceps even when she was trembling with pain. I fear this would have a negative impact on my daughter for years to come and she would not want to go to a dentist again! They took no extra measures for covid testing, like checking temperatures or history....very old school type... would never recommend it to anyone!!

Actual dental work is fine. No complaints. Dentist put my nervous kids at ease. However KEEP all your RECEIPTS for MONTHS, you may get a surprise phone call telling you you didn't pay for your treatment (even though you can't leave without payment!) found out it happened to others too. This was like... Months after treatment.
