Excellent hot and cold sandwiches, pies and some meals served here daily as well as an excellent butchers selling quality meats.
Amazing! After a disappointing visit to a pub that couldn’t offer us food, we called in here to get a sandwich for my son to keep him going- the butchers was so nice we all ended up having a butty and pork pies! The tastiest and most full butties ever (a BLT has 4 rashers of bacon on it!!!) Amazing amazing amazing- a must if you’re after a picnic in the area!
A chance find and very welcome. Had breakfast in a box and it was excellent. Three of their beautiful sausages and two really thick bacon, plus fried egg, mushrooms, tomatoes and black pudding too. All for just £4! Service was excellent too

We started shopping more locally during the first lockdown and immediately discovered the improvement in quality that this butcher’s meats has. At a reasonable price and a nice warm welcome. We will not go back to supermarket meat now. They also do a fantastic range of sandwiches and pies etc for lunchtime and lots of fresh veg. It’s a great little shop.
We were served an absolutely fab cold pork sandwich to each of our liking - with/without butter, seasoning, apple sauce, white or brown. The staff were friendly and with a great sense of Yorkshire humour! We would definitely recommend this butcher!
