    On 06th of August 2025 at 19:00 We had a truly wonderful experience during our visit. The sales lady and the male supervisor who assisted us were incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. Their excellent customer service made a strong impression, and they are without a doubt valuable assets to SPAR Bakewell. Thank you both for making our visit so pleasant — we will definitely be coming back!

    Myself and my husband are here on holiday and we bought 2 packs of Richmond sausages from here on Monday 21st July. We ate one pack, then felt unwell, and . When we checked, it turned out they actually went out of date on the 15th of July, meaning they were 6 days out of date when we bought them! Had to throw the rest in the bin, what a waste of money and clearly shows their aren't being done properly!! Also the service wasn't very good, the guy was rude! Seemed like he couldn't be bothered!

    The post office staff are about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike, bunch of doughnuts.

    They have plenty of special offers but when you get to the till you are told they are expired. Still have the stickers up though. Not the most friendly staff.

    Staff look at you like s*** and like they can’t be bothered with their jobs. Won’t be going again rather spend £3 on a can of pop across road, least they thank you :).

    Loved this place! Most things were so fairly priced for a convenience store. Their prices were cheaper than supermarket prices for some items. They have a variety of sweets and sugary goodies that are useful if you plan to go on hikes and walking trails. I saw Wham chew bars for 15pence which took me back to my childhood so I bought some. Yum! Cashier was also very friendly and helped us with directions.

    Some things can be on the pricey side but it's conveniently located and incorporates a post office. Find it handy when we're in the town.
