   The whole team at Start Smiling have been amazing from start to finish. As an anxious patient I had avoided the dentist for over a decade prior to reading about this surgery, my teeth were in an awful condition, I had trouble eating and I was constantly aware of how I looked when I smiled and spoke to people. Tony and Grania put me at ease from my very first visit. Grania held my hand and Tony was understanding, informative & patient. My treatment (which was major) was completed in just four appointments, - both a huge and welcome surprise for me, that something I had been dreaming about for so many years could be achieved in such a short amount of time. Admittedly they were long appointments, but I was always reassured by how comfortable I felt both during and after my treatments. In the couple of months since my dental work has been completed, I feel like I have gained a new lease of life. I have been out for steak dinners, posed for photographs with my mouth open and every time I see a flash of myself as I’m passing a mirror, I am amazed by my own reflection. I really can’t stop smiling!

   I have completed two major dental treatments at Start Smiling, including a dental implant, and couldn’t be happier. I had Tom who provided excellent service and care and explained each step in detail. It made what could gave been a worrying experience, stress free. I felt in safe hands and would highly recommend.

   I needed extensive dental work done and I came here after reading the reviews and, they lived up to the hype. I had cracked a tooth at the front to the root and it had to be removed. I was gutted. I had always seen fake teeth look exactly that, fake. I also had large gaps in my teeth due to having teeth removed, having braces and some teeth moving back to their original spot. I worked closely with Jake who was incredibly patient with me as we worked through resolving each issue. I had Tony do the procedure for the gum for the implant and, believe me, he was magic. I didn't feel a thing and I've heard some horror stories about how implants can be as bad as child birth. Tony was fab. I have attached some pictures so you can see the extent of the work I had done on my teeth. I had to take long breaks between the procedures due to my health but the team were amazing. Also, shout out to Rhonda and the team- SO LOVELY. Because of my work schedule, I did a majority of my appointments on Saturday and Rhonda was a breath of fresh air as soon as I walked in.

   I had all my teeth removed and 8 implants (4 top and 4 on the bottom) to secure the new set of teeth. The whole procedure was totally pain free and the level of care was way beyond excellent. It is now 18 months since the work was done and it is all perfect and I am delighted. I now have a lovely natural smile and more importantly I am able to eat normally again with no foods off the menu. It truly has changed my life and I cannot recommend Tony and Start Smiling highly enough.

   Writing this review has been one of the most difficult things I’ve had to do in a long time, purely because no word count can do justice to the wonderful service, I have received from the Start Smiling team!! Just over two years ago, I decided to make a life-changing decision to resolve the many issues with my teeth, and as fate would have it I ended up in the office of who I now firmly believe is the hands-down undisputed best Aesthetic dentist in the country.. Dr. Tom Sealey. From the very first consultation, Dr Tom was more interested in the long-term health of my teeth, and I was taken aback by his honesty and transparent approach, it was one of those life-changing conversations and one that quickly helped me make up my mind to commit to long term treatment, and resist the short term cosmetic fixes other practices were offering me. The journey was long (and challenging thanks to the pandemic) and included wisdom teeth removal, fillings, dental hygiene appointments, metal braces, invisible aligners, and teeth whitening. However, the results were far beyond my expectations, and I now find myself with a set of healthy teeth that I am proud of. A huge thank you also to the great support network that I had access to in the form of the Start Smiling team (Gemma, Rhonda, Pam, and Alison to name but a few). They gave me confidence throughout and encouraged me during the hardest points when I felt like giving up! The Smart Smiling team changed my life and allowed me to finally do something that I wasn’t able to do for many years.. SMILE!
