   After visiting the usual high Street brands and not been very impressed we dropped into DFK. What a refreshing change, after a few minutes wandering around the show room Mathew popped out of the office to see if we needed any help. He wasn't pushy we told him are vague ideas and he pointed us in the direction of samples while he made a drink. We settled on a unit style and colour then discussed what we wanted in the build. To be honest are ideas where vague but after visiting to measure up Mathew came up with a cracking design beyond anything we could imagine. The wait to the fitting date was worth it. Luke the fitter is a craftsman in every sense of the word. His attention to detail was second to none more so after the horrors revealed after the old kitchen and floor covering was stripped out. The rectifications extended the fit but DFK stuck to the original qouted price a rare thing these days. Summing up personal service but not pushy, attention to detail second to none and great craftsmanship.

   When considering whether to make a significant purchase from DFK here’s what you need to consider: Will you get the lovely finished product as I did with a new kitchen in 2023, fitted by Luke & Dan? Or will you get the service my mum got after I recommended DFK to her for a partial refurbishment of new worktop, sink, tiles & extractor? This small job has been ongoing for almost 2 months, due to failures in planning & organisation by the office staff, failure of communication between sales & office staff, different versions of why someone hadn’t bothered to turn up on any given day (too much work subcontracted out) and the worst tiling you have ever seen by a so-called professional, (Kyle) who was subcontracted from DFKs sister company Lindrick Construction. Oh, and the office staff NEVER get back to you unless you chase them. I need to commend Scott, who fitted the worktop and sink very well. And Mark was sent to ‘put right’ the errors made with Kyle’s tiling, but it was so bad the only thing he could do was start again. But somehow, the second batch of tiles ended up with three off white tiles which don’t match the rest. We couldn’t face going through the dirt and dust of the tiles being taken off for a second time and asked DFK to reduce the price by the cost of the tiles. They refused. We’re now looking at them replacing some simple white tiles for a third time. In summary I think if you get one of DFKs regular fitters you will get an excellent finished product (even if there are administrative niggles along the way). But if they’re busy and they use subcontractors, you’re taking a big chance. I’ve seen both sides of the company and I wouldn’t risk it again. The photo is an example of the tiling and sealant finish(!) which Kyle admitted he wasn't 'totally happy' with...

   I very rarely write reviews, but I have to say what a fantastic experience I've had using this Company. From the very start me and my wife went into the showroom at Direct Factory Kitchens we were greeted by Richard who answered all of our questions and worrys we had. We left and thought about it for a couple of weeks then went back with more questions, after that we made an appointment for Richard to come to the house measure up then a week later gave us a price. It was for a full kitchen and utility, rewiring, moving radiators and roof insulation because our kitchen extends out and needed this. We agreed a price and booked a date to start, the kitchen was fitted by two really multi skilled fitters Dan and Lea who were very meticulous and worked all day without hardly a break. If I owned my own company I'd recruit these two lads straight away. Now my kitchen is fully fitted I couldn't have asked for any better. If you're in the market for a new bespoke kitchen I'd give this company a looking at.

   Showroom lovely and staff from start to finish very helpful. Matthew designed the kitchen, spending a lot of time tweaking the design for us. We ordered a kitchen , bathroom and ensuite all arrived on time and accurate. One small issue with a sink pedestal, but immediately rectified. Excellent service, would highly recommend.

   Just had a complete new kitchen installed by DFK. Richard listened to everything we wanted and produced a design beyond our wildest dreams.Absolutely amazing experience from design to installatiom to finished product. The entire process was so stress free and everyone involved was so brilliant. Communication was second to none. Every procedure was well co ordinated and all the trades involved were delightful. Fantastic quality and amazing value for money. Scott the fitter showed fabulous attention to detail . Highly recommend this company.

   Direct Factory Kitchens Ltd installed a new bathroom for me. They did an amazing job and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. They were so particular about the work and their installer, Dan, was the best that I have ever had. Delighted with the finished product and the level of fittings and bathroom furniture. A professional job. 5/5 and no complaints. I would highly recommend them .

   Richard took onboard what we wanted of our new kitchen and the end result is beyond our expectations, the bespoke kitchen works perfectly for us. Our kitchen looks amazing and we are delighted. DFK's communication has been excellent keeping us informed every step of the way and everything was well planned, timed and coordinated. A special mention to Ash and Rob who were so friendly, helpful and very patient. Professional from start to finish and nothing too much trouble. The quality of their workmanship is excellent. Their attention to detail of the installation was first class and they went the extra mile to ensure our kitchen was just how we wanted it. They made the whole experience as stress free as possible.
