absolute dog water, no idea why I stuck with it for so long, during the course of 20 years I was seen 2/3 if that. I once went regarding mental health and was asked why I'm registered here since I moved to Beeston which clearly told me they don't want patients seen.
I am very unhappy with the service at this surgery. I had a blood test on 8 August for my thyroid (TSH level). Normally results should be back within a couple of days, but after waiting two weeks and hearing nothing, I chased it up. Only then I was told that the hospital had not processed the test and it was cancelled. Later, the manager called me and explained that many patients’ blood tests had been cancelled. When I asked why nobody had informed me sooner, she simply said it was not their fault. She offered no apology and spoke to me in a dismissive tone, as though I had done something wrong for making a complaint. This attitude left me feeling extremely let down. Patients deserve clear communication, timely test results, and respectful treatment. Instead, I was left waiting weeks without answers, while still feeling unwell and needing proper monitoring of my thyroid condition.
Pathetic experience with ultrasound scan. I went for an ultrasound scan for a pain in my side/rear delt but the technician scanning in me in the wrong place on top of my shoulder. I intervened and telling he is scanning in the wrong place but he refused to listen and completed the scan in 45seconds - can you believe it ? The scan didn’t even last for a minute. It took 30 days for me to get an appointment and now I have to wait again (don’t know how long) to get another appointment. The technician was very unprofessional, speaking rude and the way he behaved was unacceptable. I tried complaining it to the receptionist but they said they can’t do anything and wrote a review online. There should be a portal to raise such complaints and we should be able to trace what happens to our compliant else these services would never improve and people never change.
the service is horrible. I was 6th in the queue and they didn’t have appointments (due to sickness) to offer until I told I know how GP system works. She had 8 appointments to offer this morning yet kept saying there is no appointments available. Being a medical professional if it’s this hard to get a GPs attention despite clear explanation of issues and multiple e consults. It’s a sad state of affairs. Either staff up or close down. I think one star is too much.
I cannot fault this surgery at all. Recently moved to this surgery a few years ago, my previous surgery I could never get through to a person and could never get an appointment. I can ring Middleton park any time of day and speak to someone. Even on a weekend I always use the e-consult online and I always get a phone call back to arrange being seen. They have been fantastic especially through my pregnancy!
Middleton Park is a brilliant surgery. The receptionists are brilliant. My doctor is very caring, and he supports me all the way. He has time for his patients. He's the best Doctor I have ever found. He does his work well, and I'm so happy to have him.
The service that I have received lately from Middleton Park surgery has been second to none. Kind regards Bob
Desperate for after surgery check ups, one day they only had 8 appointments available for the whole day. Another day, they had no nurse. The building is huge, and they always have about 30-40 chairs laid out in the waiting area - but there’s nobody ever sitting on them. It’s not a real doctors surgery. There are more receptionists than medics - or patients actively receiving any help. Like a scene from a dystopia.
I wish I could put 0 stars. They smile at you while telling you wrong information especially when I got pregnant. They told me that they don't do appointments but instead I should ring a hospital and utility kept going on and on and on until they got yelled at by mother in law to get me the first appointment. And I have lots of occasions when I can say the same thing. I have never seen people that are in health that are not nice like that. It's becoming very clear to me that you don't have to be a nice individual to work in health areas but to pass exams and the interview. I wish there was a way for the government to notice this and get it to stop✋
