Trying to get an appointment is an ordeal and it's rare you get one on the day you ring. The online repeat prescription system doesn't work , so I've opted for the NHS app over the past 12 months. Again, this is more hit and miss than reliable, as the option to repeat is often missing. It's then back to the phone and a lengthy wait. Not exactly impressive.

If l could give this surgery a 0 l would. I called the surgery as l wanted advice and to book an appointment for 11month old. She'd been coughing and bringing up brown like coffee grounds, only to be told by the receptionist its probs just something she ate, is she medically trained to tell me that ? No appointments and asked to attend Dewsbury, where waiting times are horrendous. Anyways l managed to ring 111 and get my daughter checked out, currently on antibiotics for an infection and turns out it just wasn't something she's eaten.

Hit and miss, Dr's very rude over the phone. No appointments for 4+ weeks to discuss test results. GPs not following up with referrals for specialist services. Every time I have gone in for something it has been fine and nice but getting there is a mission.

I am writing this in behalf of my husband. Ms Nazia Khan from the Sano Physiotherapy is amazing from him being unable to walk after a motorbike accident 10 sessions in he walks out feeling great. Highly recommend her.

absolutely shocking, they treat me like rubbish because I’m a 18 year old mother….the night before my son was throwing up every bottle he had and I mentioned it to my doctor, as soon as we walked in the room my son sneezed and she went ah see it’s just a cold… then I mentioned that I'm weaning my nearly 6month old son and he had abit of a reaction and instead of her been concerned about my son having a reaction she started having a go at me for weaning my son… I went in because my son was having some issues and instead of her been concerned for his health she was telling me that he was fine and that if he threw up any more milk then there’s nothing I can do. I rang 111 after this and they told me that it wasn’t on what she told me and she gave me the wrong advice. I gotten given the correct advice from 111 and she even told me that the doctor should of not said that to me and that she should of checked up on him better and said i should of been given instructions on what to do if he throws up again instead of telling me to leave him to it. If I was you choose a diffrent doctors and do not bother here!

Hi I did have an appointment today at 9.40 I rang up at 3.33 explaining I have appointment what time it is and that the bus hasn't turned up so I will be late will the doctor still see me. They said don't know I said I don't want to be on way then doctor won't see me as i was spending my last £4 on getting there and back home when it could of been spent on my two boys under the age of 5. The bus turned up Minutes after I was on the phone explaining. I told them bus is here now which was before 9.42 as that was time for next bus. Soon as i got into cleckheaton bus station i got a call saying doctor wont see me. So now I have wasted my last £4 which could of been spent on my kids. Other times in the past am just getting fobbed off or sorry no appointments available. Going to change doctor's

If I could give no stars I would. Rang up to get my partner an appointment as he refuses to go to the doctors due to the ordeals this one has put him through every time he’s gone. Was on hold for over an hour, even after ringing bang on 8. It’s appalling really. I’ve advised him to move to a new surgery.

Terrible. Simply terrible. The gp's there just don't care. The hospital refer me to the gp. The gp refer me back to the hospital. With a chronic auto immune disorder its a nightmare. They only give phone appointments, which would be okay if their phones worked. They can't hear me and they sound like they are down a pit. They are non caring and dismissive. The hospital shouldn't be picking up for them. Gps like this are why our hospitals are in such a mess.

2 hours on hold to be told to ring 111. So be prepared to be on hold for up at least an hour whilst trying to organise an appointment. My daughter had a water infection and was unable to get to an same day appointment and told to ring 111. We rang 111 and was told to ring the surgery with a 111 referral which she did and was told that she would have a telephone consulatation with a Doctor. No call was made or returned. Physically went down on Monday, where the elder receptionist lady rolled her eyes at me and told me that she had no record my daughter ringing the surgery and told that an appointment would not be availble for over a week. I repeated that she had a water infection. Her answer was to go to A and E. . This is a heads up if you are thinking of joining. It is not the best Doctors Surgery by far but do your homework if you need a new docs. The receptionist I spoke to was rude, unsympathetic and eye rolling well, actions speak louder than words. Needless to say we got our medication from Asda Pharmacy at twice the price of a NHS Prescription, because they could not provide a service of which we pay our taxes too.
