Had an appointment this morning, when I arrived was informed this had been cancelled by voice message, do not carry my phone when I arrived home and checked this was cancelled at 9.22 my appointment was for 9am
Impossible to get an appointment! Rang 3 mornings Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning, made over 160 phone calls as it cuts you off each time. They only do same day appointments, after an hour of trying and not getting through, eventually get a recorded message saying no appointments left. Demand is high but they only operate part time, just mornings and one afternoon! Horrendous doctors!!!
I dropped off my Mums prescription at Denholme surgery. The receptionist Dawn was polite and helpful. I asked if there was any Flu clinics at the surgery for my Mum. This was because Mum had phoned many times to Thornton surgery and was told she needed a home visit due to her health needs and Mum was keen to have the jab. Dawn spoke to the Nurse, who was doing the flu clinic that afternoon. There was a time slot available, Mum had her flu jab. Fantastic communication between the staff there, and now Mum is protected for this year. Thank you.
