Please avoid this place! I went to have full face waxing, next day, half of my face is bruised and bleeding. I'm so upset, as I don't want permanent scarring. Totally unprofessional and untrained.
Had asked for biab nail removal here and had the worst experience. The lady did not know what she was doing - started cutting my nails unnecessarily and causing pain doing so, the e-filer she was using was burning my nails and skin, and my nails have come out so thin. It also took her an 1hr to remove the nails. Zero stars. Do not visit her for nails.
The worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had—hands down. From the moment I arrived, it was a mess. The main technician, who was supposed to be in charge, wasn’t even there, because she had guests at home. I asked the person there if she could do nails, and she said yes. If she had been honest and said no, I would’ve gladly gone somewhere else. Instead, I wasted over two hours being treated by someone who clearly had no idea what she was doing. She tried to remove my nails using an eyebrow plucker, and left my fingers soaking in acetone for 20+ minutes, which made my skin red and irritated. Worse still, she filed my natural nails down so aggressively that they started burning—I now have red marks across my nail beds, and the pain was so bad I had to stop the service and walk out. This was not only unprofessional, it was unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Zero stars.
Had pedicure done with Neha and it was total agony. She cut my skin and hurt me so many times , struggle to remove old shellac (with a hand nail file!). Place is incredibly filthy you can see it from the minute you walk in. Pedicure chair was dirty and sticky I had to ask for it to be wiped before I sat on it. I decided to skip the pedicure part when I saw how filthy was the water basin. I’ve paid £24 (£5 extra for removal of my old shellac) 5 year old would do nails better than this.
Excellent Service from both Chien the nail technician and the owner who is the Barber. Nice, spacious and clean parlour. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
Avoid for Keratin Treatment. Unprofessional women and appalling experience.. (Brought it for my wife - Review from her) I went for keratine treatment via groupon. I purchased that for £39 and expected to pay another £10 for I have more that shoulder length hair. There is only one lady who does the treatment there and what a horrific experience she gave me. Still having a headache thinking about it..First she asked if I had shampooed my hair, and I said yes and then she asked if I had put conditioner on it and I said yes, to which she said that I will need to shampoo again, which will be another £10 pounds. I was a little reluctant and said she could put the treatment just like that and it would be okay as I had done that before. She outright suggested me to either leave or pay another £10. I had plans for later that evening so needed the treatment done and agreed to pay. Again, throughout applying the treatment she kept moaning about groupon and pointed that I should be paying £150 for the hair my length (which bare reaches 1/4th by back and I am 5.5"). Don't know about other services but this one, please avoid. Hoping to get a bargain, I walked out with a headache, a poorly done treatment and paid a total of £59.
The best haircut which I have ever had.. I always look for a barber who can help me to decide what I should go for rather than asking what I want. He is a proper brother in the neighbourhood. He is not just barber, he is a brother whom u can talk ur life stuff with. This guy is the real life ice cube from Barber shop..
I've been going to Maru for years now and I always go for a fade. He's an artist, he always takes his time to perfect the trim and he never fails to come up with a different look each time. The staff is friendly and welcoming - best barber in town hands down.
