   11th December 2025 at 13:17 Today I had a service booked and I was 7 minutes late. As I arrived Georgina and the receptionist were sat behind the desk and told me because I was 7 minutes late my service couldn’t go ahead. I looked at them in disbelief for a second and repeated that I was 7 minutes, not even 10 minutes late. In my mind I’m thinking, is this the hunger games? This is London, there’s traffic many people aren’t to the dot with time, it can’t be helped sometimes and in my time as a customer there have been occasions where they’ve ran late with the client before me! If they are unable to schedule a reasonable buffer time between clients that says something about poor scheduling skills and greed over good customer service. I think it’s even saying something when they use cues to rush you out after an intimate service when you’re putting your clothes back on even so far as to come back in not even 5 minutes after, when you’re still putting your clothes back on. Anyway, they then told me, “we can partially do your service with the time left for your appointment so if it’s unfinished then we can only do what we can do in this time as we have back to back bookings today so what do you want?”. At this point I couldn’t believe the way I was being treated over 7 minutes of lateness. I am rarely if not ever late to my appointments and if I am, it’s a few minutes. So I asked to cancel the appointment. “Oh, we can’t cancel, only reschedule” receptionist said. I explained to them that this isn’t fair because they were not able to do the full service I booked for on this occasion and the way I’ve now been made to feel I don’t want to return here as a customer ever again. So they said they’ll cancel it. I said I’d like my £5 deposit back after this experience. They refused and told me they’d have to run it by their manager first. Which they did not. I politely told them that I won’t be back (which I wont) and left. You’d think a small local business would value its customers, but it appears 7 minutes of lateness is enough to treat someone who has been a loyal returning customer for 10 years disgracefully. Well. I am still waiting to hear back about my deposit refund. On a positive note, as it’s important we hold onto that when others have such a bleak way of behaving, I was able to get the service I wanted at another venue in that same hour and for a better price and friendlier service. So it wasn’t a wasted trip and the break up not a pain.

   I’ll be honest — I was really nervous before my appointment. I’ve had a traumatic waxing experience in the past and had sworn I’d never do it again. But after some time (okay, years!), I decided to give it one more try. I found this salon, booked an appointment on impulse — and wow, I’m so glad I did. Charlotte was incredible: professional, kind, and exceptionally skilled. The treatment was quick, barely painful (honestly shocking!), and my skin was left calm and irritation-free. I came in feeling tense and anxious, but the whole experience was unexpectedly relaxing — from the soothing music to the warm, easy conversation. I’ll absolutely be coming back. Now that I know how good it can be, I won’t go anywhere else. Also, the salon itself is lovely, and the receptionist was so kind and welcoming. I’m excited to be back to try other treatments too. So yeah - Couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you!

   I trust, without reservation, True Medispa. My first visit was, unbelievably, about 20 years ago! Moving on.. True held their annual open evening as a thank you to their clients,plus raise money for a worthy charity. This year was Purple Elephant, awe! Amazing generosity ,from all. A big shout out to 'The Wharf', Barbara prepared and served the most amazing appetisers! The Salon? Welcoming, friendly, and a comprehensive range of treatments by highly qualified and trusted professionals. Take a look at the awards! Love the spotless decor throughout, including the loo! (Says a lot about a place). Im booked for something new, to me, can't wait! I'll let you know :)

   I was thrilled to be seen at True Medi Spa today for 3 area Botox under Dr Humble from Hedox Clinic during the spa's 20th anniversary celebrations. It was such a lovely atmosphere and Fran and the whole team looked fabulous. The garland around the door was superb and I've never been so impressed with a cupcake. The treatment was swift and I'm looking forward to the results!

   I had an excellent one hour facial treatment by Georgina. It was wonderfully relaxing and my skin feels amazing after the facial. The whole experience was lovely! Georgina is a professional, friendly, knowledgeable and very experienced therapist, I highly recommend her. Big thank for Georgina. Everyone in the salon is very friendly, warm and welcoming. I will definitely come back. Looking forward my next visit to true Medispa. Five stars for this salon :)

   I visited last week and had an Alkaline wash. What an amazing experience it was and I left with glowing younger looking skin. Couldn't fault the environment (which was very clean, quiet and calming) and the knowledge of Charlotte (the therapist). Loved that she told me what to expect during the treatment as well as giving me a detailed aftercare program. Would definitely go back again.
