I have used this groomers several times before with no issues but the last 2-3 times have been AWFUL. Last time I came for the groom and I specifically asked for my dog to be cut in a certain way and the lady suggested a traditional cut for the breed and I said no. She didn’t like that answer and I repeatedly said how I wanted my dog cut and showed a reference picture and she continued to disregard my preferences. When I picked my dog up they had given him the traditional cut and his hair looked ridiculous. They’d given him a bowl cut. I had no time to argue with the staff as it was NYE and I had a family gathering at home to get to. The cut was so bad that my family had laughed and in the end I’d given him a cut myself to try and fix it. I then booked another appointment for end of March 2024 as I have a voucher, I booked this well in advance (February) because I know they book up very quickly. They call a month or so before the appointment to say they have staff sickness that can’t cover the groom, fine people get sick, I understand, wasn’t aware they can see into the future for sicknesses. She then suggested that the next available weekend appointment was not until the 13th April so I booked it in with no choice. I get ANOTHER call mid March to say that the person working that day cannot cut my dog breeds hair to their style and I said I don’t get the traditional cut so it’ll be alright. She stumbled across their words and essentially said “still can’t do it, pick another day”. I moved it to 12th April in a panic and expressed my concerns and explained if they keep pushing my appointment around, I’m not gonna be able to use my voucher. I also explained that my rota for work hasn’t been released so I’m blindly booking desperately trying to keep the appointment. Mind you when they called, they called at 5.55pm in hopes I wouldn’t call back because they’d be closed but I did and she was not happy My rota has been released and I’ve called 6 times today to try and change the appointment but they aren’t picking up, they’re quick to ring and mess you about though. My dog is 2.5KG and paying £45 for sub par work is robbery. I originally booked online and I expected that the appointment would be changed on the portal but it hasn’t so now I haven’t to spend my time trying to get through to them

Took my border collie for his first ever groom and I wasn’t impressed. When I picked him up he was still damp. On getting him home my partner noticed he was still dirty underneath. Staff didn’t seem helpful and I had to pay the full amount even though I’d paid a deposit. I was told the deposit would be refunded, which I might add it hasn’t. Will definitely not be using this groomers again

Took my schnauzer to be groomed, they ruined the look of him, shaved his eyebrows off, shaved his chest to the skin, never touched his tail and his legs cut uneven. He looks awful. Complained only to be told he got stressed, he's been cut twice before perfectly, won't be going back. If you go there ur taking a chance!! The last photo was previous groom

Phoned this morning to just get our dog in for a shampoo as both me and my Husband are having back problems at the moment, she has been at least 4 times to this groomers, she had a blueberry facial last time, they asked today what breed she is and was told she is an XL Bully, so all of a sudden they won't touch her. if our dog was any kind of threat to anyone I wouldn't even ask for her to be washed. but like another reviewer said she wasn't washed properly last time she went anyway, so when our backs get better, we will shampoo her ourselves. Just saved myself 30+ quid.

Been taking my dog to the groom room since he was a baby & recently moved to Manchester so took him to this groom room. They proceeded to tell me after they had finished that it would be £50 more, making it well over £100 as due to the fluffiness of my dog it took 2 of them to do this & 3 hours. The groom room I previously went to were great with him and only cost £65 and one woman was done in an hour and a half. Just find it crazy that its so different at different venues and charging me almost double without even telling me until the end.

Booked my appointment 4 weeks ago online for today 4pm. Received a text at 9am today saying it had been cancelled because they hadn’t received a deposit. I was not asked to pay a deposit. I tried calling the store multiple times throughout the day, no answer and I left two voicemails, but no response. I also went online to see if the 4pm had become available again for me to re-book, but no. I went in at 3pm and asked what’s happened, they said they apparently called me to ask for a deposit and left a message. They didn’t. Apparently nothing they could do about it as they were now fully booked. How? When I was supposed to be the last appointment of the day. This experience is just silly and really bad customer service.

To summarize what I see to be the overall root cause of my (our) experience is: rushed job! In more details: 1. Not unfriendly customer service, but yet rough on the edges, cold, impatient. 2. I booked my short hair chihuahua for the full groom £30 option and it was under-delivered . Just with the smell, was easy to tell my little one was not shampooed everywhere and mainly it was missing in the belly area . Nails not clipped (but incl. in the price) . Ears not cleaned (but incl. in the price) 3. Be more sensitive, dragging my terrorised chihuahua on the floor while I am telling you he just need a treat (proposed you one) to follow you. Just grab him instead, tiny and light and will feel reassured, not scared. To be honest when I saw that I was not sure I was willing to go ahead, but well, thought maybe it's ok. After reflexion, it's not ok. 4. Worse in terms of H&S for the dog: when I took him in the car outside I noticed he was still a bit wet on some areas (when I sum things up as rushed..). it's 13-15 degrees C. thus really borderine already. I can't see this happening middle of the winter when closer to 0 degree C: it's a Chihuahua, sensitive to cold, not a Husky (and to be honest, even if he was a husky, I would not expect my dog to be not properly dried).

Usually take my dog here to get a grooming but this one time I was disappointed! My dog had clearly been treated badly one of the ladies there who was grooming her had taken her round the back to be washed and all I heard was my dog constantly barking ( baring in my mind this was insulated as she always so well behaved ) when she’s come back around she looks so scared and afraid so I knew something had gone on behind there . When she’s come to the front to be dried she was so unsteady and fell off the table as she was frightening . The lady came out and told us to move from the front as we were distracting her but we usually stating there and she i always fine to see us . SOMETHING had clearly gone on that my dog was unhappy about . I’m so disappointed and so upset for my dog this was clearly a traumatic experience for her

Absolutely disgusting customer service from the two women that were working at the shop. I booked an appointment weeks ago for my dog to be groomed, the appointment time was for 1 o'clock. Only a couple of days before the appointment, a message was left on my phone to ask if they can move the appointment to 12 - I phoned back twice and left messages to say it was impossible for me to get there for 12 but I could get there for half 12. No one phoned me back and I did not confirm that 12 was OK. We turn up at half 12 only to be told from an old blonde woman that she can't do "IT" as she referred to my dog. We told them the situation and that I had left 2 messages only for them to say that the messages must not have been saved on the answer machine (basically lying to my face). Not one apology for their lack of managing appointments and the sheer disregard for customers. If ever you go, be prepared for unskilled staff looking after your pet.

First time I was not very impressed as was looking like products used were quite aggressive and left my dog al itchy for a few days, but this time after speaking to the staff all went perfectly. Doggy came home very happy as like been to the spa and smelling like heaven
