   After being quoted £6000+ for an oak porch I decided to give it a go myself. Came across Timber Mines on the Web and paid them a visit. Can't fault them for help and advice and importantly value for money. Superb quality oak timbers supplied cut to exact spec including curved brackets custom made. Can't thank them enough! P.S. log burner wood is good quality too.

   Calling in to Timbermines after building a gazebo and requiring some timber to add some finishing touches, we met Karen and she helped us with our needs with fantastic prices including delivery. All required items were delivered as per request and the gazebo was completed I can’t recommend Timbermines enough for there attention to the customers needs and excellent service and product quality Thank you so much for an awesome service

   What a gem of a find this place is. Don't be put off by the security barrier as you enter the small trading estate, the guy will let you through. I only needed a few lengths of wood for a raised bed and when surrounded by the vast amount of wood and options here, I was approached by one of the most helpful and friendly people I've met in a long time. Roy chatted away and guided me through the options before leading me to the office where Karen did the paperwork and arranged delivery for me. There is a huge variety of wood for sale here, at fair prices, and they even build bespoke pagodas, bars etc. Really talented and friendly people. Before using Savoy timber as the default wood supplier, have a shufty here. Julian Hopkins
