I hurt my wrist and went to A & E. Just 2 days later I had an apppontment the fracture clinic. Then because my wrist was severally broken they offered me an operation. Surgeons on the Taco ward doing my operation were really friendily and made me feel at ease before my operation & during. Checking I were okay through out the operation and while leaving theatre. I felt supported and the service I received was excellent. It was my first operation I were really nervous but well looked after. Thank you to all the staff involved in my care. God bless you all. Thank you so much.

Very grateful to the Cardiology team today. My taxi was 45mins late to take me to my appointment, which made me 30mins late for the appointment. I called the team to inform them I was going to be late, they advised to come to the appointment anyway but said they could not guarantee I would be seen. Luckily for me, I was seen within 10mins of my arrival. I understand how frustrating this must have been to the hospital, and im very grateful they squeezed me in. Sorry for the inconvenience I may have caused you this morning, but I really appreciate it! P.s Mr Rowley from maintenance is the best!

Doncaster A&E is not fit for purpose. The staff do their best but theyβre massively understaffed. The waiting room is always packed so not enough seats for people who need them and waiting hours are more than 8hrs. I was admitted with chest pains. Ambulance crew were fantastic. Once in A&E I had an ECG then told to wait. I arrived at 7pm and by 12am Iβd still not been seen so I went home. When I woke in the morning Iβd received a voicemail at 4am saying they were calling my name and to go to reception. Thatβs 9hrs!!! Thatβs how much the government cares about your health.

If i could give zero stars I would! I was rushed to Doncaster Royal Infirmary with a suspected adrenal crisis β the paramedics and triage nurse were amazing, but after that, it turned into a nightmare. A consultant ignored what I told him about being hard to cannulate, stuck a line into a collapsed vein, and when my hand swelled, he just said βitβs supposed to hurt.β Later, after I had a non-epileptic seizure, I was promised pain relief and diazepam but given nothing. The same consultant told me it was all in my head, then went home without writing anything up. The next consultant ignored us completely, and when I finally left at 3am struggling to walk, she smiled and said βthanks.β I left feeling humiliated, scared, and completely dismissed. This hospital needs to take a long, hard look at how they treat people β because no one deserves to be made to feel like that.

I was rushed in Doncaster royal infirmary with prostate, bladder issues, I spent five days there my treatment was excellent. Later I needed an operation on prostate, green Lazer surgery my treatment was exemplary. Now roll on a few months my wife now a dying person was taken to Doncaster royal infirmary. The ambulance service for my wife was no more than, callous indifferent, and deplorable, for a person that was dying. My wife was in hospital for one week before she passed on. THE HOSPITAL DID THEIR BEST for her , last week alive. Now I sat with my wife for the last 37 hours of her life and not once did the hospital offer any form of refreshment, I had to go down 3 flights of stairs to a vending machine. No problem. But what was unpleasant was that when my wife died I went for a nurse who promptly came , saw my wife had died from that moment not one person from the medical profession offered any form of condolence. I was completely ignored. They offered no help whatsoever. I waited for a doctor to confirm my wife's time of death he never came, after waiting a half hour.I had no option but to leave, not very caring.

Sadly i have been here quite a lot as i seem to be accident prone. The waiting time is like watching paint dry, it can take several hours. It's not uncommon to be stuck waiting for 5 hours, just to be seen. The nurses are nice and very good when it comes to stitching up wounds, i just wish i could remember the nurses name from my last visit, since they were very helpful and the only reason i'm not giving 2 stars.

The care I got last night from the paramedics, doctors nurses even the porter was excellent. I can't thank them enough, even though they were busy the care and understanding was fantastic and luckily I was allowed home. Thank you to those that looked after me last night 6th January 2023.

My son was taken extremely poorly yesterday. Having failed to get him an appointment with the gp, same day centre or urgent care(thatβs not a dig- they are pushed to their absolute limits) I was advised to take him to a and e and thank god I did. As soon as we arrived he collapsed and was immediately taken to the childrenβs care section and placed in a side room and monitored. Despite it being obvious that the service is extremely busy he was given superb care.I canβt fault the staff there at all, they are working under such pressure and still remained kind and put my son at ease. The wait times are long but itβs the same everywhere. Services are at the brink and they are doing the best they can. Iβm so grateful I was in the right place with him at the right time.
