Had mani, pedi and wax done by a lovely lady who did a great job. It was my first time visiting but I’ll definitely be back. Completely satisfied.
I had my nails done about three weeks ago on a visit seeing my family, I thought I would treat myself to a bit of well deserved pampering! I’m afraid I have to say that I wasn’t impressed, I didn’t feel relaxed as the lady who was doing my nails was constantly talking in her language to another staff member all the way through my appointment. I didn’t really feel welcomed and I also noticed that they weren’t very professional or polite towards other customers who were walk inns. My nails overall were nice but they need to definitely improve on customer service, sadly I won’t be returning again.
Fantastic customer service from these lovely ladies. Have been going for years and they are always friendly and happy to offer advice if I fancy something new. I have never walked out with anything other than fabulous nails!
My mum and I have been going here for around eight years now, recently the service has really gone down hill. They are always running late, you feel rushed and it’s not up to the same service whilst costing a lot more money. The gel pedicures used to last absolutely ages and now they peel within the first week. Not sure what is going on. Will not be returning.

I recently paid my firsts visit to Shimmers and I was nothing but impressed! Extremely precise, clean and caring team. Very happy with their manicure and threading services and I will certainly go back! The only pain point is that they don’t accept card payment so it is a hassle to withdraw cash every time u visit them!
honestly, they scammed me, over the phone i asked how much a set of gel nails would be and they responded with £12, after having booked my appointment and hgavjng my nails done, they charged me £30, honestly, there was no respect and they didn't compromise or apologise, the prices here are ridiculous and they are untruthful and therefore i would avoid coming here, the end result was of course lovely and the treatment was v professional however the end really disappointed me and wasn't worth the price,
Been getting my nails done at this nail bar for last 6 years. I’m in love with this place cuz as you’d find most of the nail bars , their staff not being friendly or place not being hygienic and dirty where as this place looks amazingly nice, clean and spacious. The staff is very polite and makes sure you are happy with the service you get. Once I broke one of my acrylic nail and went back to them to get it redone free of charge where as in the past I went to my previous nail place they had charged me £3 to get it done. so I’d highly recommend them to anyone!
