I’ve been coming to Ozra for years, and it’s always a great experience. The team is friendly, professional, and really know what they’re doing. Whether it’s a simple trim or something new, I always leave happy with my hair. Definitely recommend!
I have been coming to this salon for years, ive had a variety of treatments done. Zohal and the girls service is number one and never fails to cater to my needs and timings. I get my full body wax here every 6 weeks and without any hesitation i’ve recommend it to my friends and family who also love it too.
PLEASE AVOID IF YOU HAVE SERIOUS ALLERGIES. My auntie came to this establishment for a haircut, THEY then offered her to do henna which she refused initially due to severe allergies to certain ingredients, and asked 3 times about the ingredients due to her past. They assured her that this is 100 percent pure natural henna (with no patch test, despite her past allergies) , and that she needn’t worry. She is being treated at the hospital as she had a severe allergic reaction. They have left a response to another family insisting that my auntie was the one who had asked, but why would someone who has severe allergies, that hasn’t had a henna treatment outside her home in YEARS due to fear of a reaction insist on a henna treatment at this establishment. She was falsely led on to believe that the product was 100 per cent pure henna (which she is not allergic to) and then suffered the consequences.
Avoid at all cost. This place has no standards. I am absolutely appalled by their service and will be taking legal action against this place. My mum went for hair wash and blow dry and they convinced her for hair colouring. She explained she has severe allergies to hair dye and they assured her they use natural henna and it's organic. My mum asked 3 times due to the severity of her allergy and they assured her it's organic. They proceeded to colour her hair without carrying out a patch test which is a basic requirement for customers with previous allergic reaction. 24 hours later my mum has developed an allergic reaction and went there to ask for the label of the product they used to take with her to a&e and they said they had no label and was very dismissive. She is currently in hospital due to the severity of her allergic reaction. Absolutely appalled with the level of customer service. No apologies or support given.
Overall I agree with some of the negative comments of cutting too much hair of. The rushed approach to get people in and out can affect the quality and care of how the work is delivered . Taking damaged hair off takes patience and skill. It does involve chopping the maximum off in a straight line . In involves cutting delicately the bare minimum to preserve length yet achieve the result. I think if the staff were sent on more training and wanted to improve their skills to deliver better , with the location and their enthusiasm , this salon would get higher ratings So it's ok, but could be much better. Best service are the blow dries !
Very unprofessional. I went there to cut my hair. There leaflet showed prices like £10 for a dry haircut but I asked anyway.. They first said £20 for a dry haircut and £25 for a washed haircut. I chose the dry haircut for £20 but when I had to pay she just said £30!! When I asked her for the reason she said that I had strawy hair and she needed to use the spray bottle and a hairdryer!! But even before that I decided to not give her a tip or even go there again as she ripped half of my hair out when she was combing them while cutting. My scalp is still hurting a day later. And let me tell you that I am not oversensitive to pain and my hair is in a really fair condition. Even my 3 year old daughter can comb them! Conclusion: rude, fraudy and unprofessional rough. I am glad to know that businesses like this can never survive for long. And I learned my lesson to always read reviews before going to new places. I would have known.
Last time I came in I really liked it. I came back back and wanted the same thing which was highlights and haircut. We agreed on same price. Mid way through I had the lady doing my hair changed (which is fine) and after everything was done they requested £30 more! I like the haircut and highlights but that’s not ok to tell you £30 higher price after we agreeded. I did inform her of the previously agreed price but she gave me no choice. It was also way more expensive than Treatwell, where usually if you go to then the price is the same or bit better than on Treatwell. Book with them and pre-pay if you want to use them!
I have been coming to Ozra for a while now, I see Zohal and she very professional and such a perfectionist in what she does. The other staff members there now are also good. I get full wax all the team. Customer service was amazing.
They don’t have idea about hair cutting , no one seems like professional hair dressers I had worst experience they ruined my longest hair and make it shortest with no style . They charge you extra and rip you off with made up prices even though the prices are right there in front of you. I won’t recommend this place to any . They should close down their fake business. I would give them less than 1 star if I could!
