My daughter came-in today 16th October , to have her hair trimmed, it is already short. She told Fay she only wanted it trimmed .Fay decided to butcher it, bald patches, short like a man’s haircut. This girl Doesn’t Know Her job. Don’t recommend this shop, butchers.
Myself and all the family have been coming here for years. We have always been extremely happy with all chosen services whether it was beauty or hair . This is a gem of a salon to find in camberwell. Prices are very reasonable, id even go as far to say under priced compared to other local salons. Always friendly and willing to go the extra mile for their customers.
I came to this salon based on the children’s pricing listed on their website — £16 for a haircut for kids under 12. I was not told about any extra charges before the haircut began. However, after the haircut was done, I was suddenly told I’d have to pay more because my child’s hair was “too thick” and they should have charged adult prices. This was never mentioned in advance, and I find it very unfair to be told one price online, and then charged more after the service is complete. If there are conditions like hair type or thickness that affect the price, that should be clearly explained beforehand — not sprung on customers after the fact. I left feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. I won’t be returning, and I hope they become more transparent in the future. Thank you for your response, but I have to respectfully disagree. At no point during my visit was I told that the price might vary based on hair thickness, length, or style complexity. If you had informed me of that in person, I would have asked for a clear quote before agreeing to the haircut. What’s more disappointing is that you also tried to charge for a blow dry that I did not request. It was done without warning, and no price was mentioned until the very end. That’s not how professional service works — customers should be informed of any added services and costs before they happen, not after. Your claim that I was given this information is simply not true. I came in based on your advertised price of £16 for children under 12. To be told afterward that I owe more for reasons never discussed feels deceptive and unprofessional.
I wanted to reach out to discuss my recent visit to the salon. I really appreciate the time you spend on my hair but unfortunately, the balayage color and the hair cut, it's not what I expected. Additionally, I was experiencing irritation and a burning sensation on my scalp on the appointment. I tried to informed your team of my concerns and discomfort but your team simply ignored. However I asked to wait for a senior management but your staff seems more worried in charging me for the services than helping me. I asked for the manager to call me back and assist me with further guidance on how to address these issues but no one has contact me I had my hair done 7 days ago send emails and messages but nothing. I was asked to pay the full amount £190 for even though I was dissatisfied with the colour and hair cut with a visible scalp irritation, totally ignored me dissatisfaction. I’m requesting a full refund of this poor service. I’m definitely not return to this place with zero empathy for the clientele and a poor customer service journey.
A really lovely salon, creates such a friendly and warm environment and are amazing at what they do. Will definitely be returning and massively recommend. Lovely people!!
I had a lovely appointment this morning and couldn't be happier with the delightful atmosphere and warm welcome despite a cold, drizzly day and a spilled coffee. My hair has had a full revival and feels so fresh after the trimming and shaping, and my eyebrow & lip waxing was as painless as it can be. Be sure to bring cash!
Such a nice and positive environment. Love coming into the Salon and having such a positive atmosphere around me. Everyone is so kind, helpful and you can tell all staff love their jobs. Hairdressers always leave customers feeling happy with their experience and overall a great salon.
If my nails chipped after a week or two i would have no reason to write this review. my nails chipped the day after it was done. you can be as sad as you want, i will never return to your service for the mare fact that someone DID hang the phone up on me while i was trying to explain my situation. When i do my nails and pay for them, i do not expect to be making appointment to get them done again after two days of them being done. I had to do my nails again at "Hot Tips" on saturday where i would usually go and i have not returned since and today is tuesday, thats 4 days. (please see pictures below no chips after 4 days) this is how my nails should have been when i came to your shop to get them done. As i said in my first review the staff were nice on approach and the service i was offered on the day i went was good. However, the treatment i received over the phone was disgraceful and francis knows that. the phone was hung up on me and if you say this was the reception, why wasn't i called back? i had to call you back on the occasion that the phone was cut off. I did not call back on the second occasion because francis rudely hung up the phone on me. please do not feel you need to respond to my review. first impression are very important and you failed to make this a priority at your service and for this i will not be returning to your shop. Please see below for pictures of my nails done from Hot Tips (I had to redo them after a week of having them done from head to toe because they chipped so badly after a day of getting them done) these were done on saturday the 3rd, today is tuesday the 13th NO CHIPPING at all. extremely satisfied.
