   So delighted to come here to see Tannia Starr - someone I used to see a few years ago and by far one of the best colourists I've ever come across - in her cool new Aveda salon home. Not only is she extremely experienced and creative in her approach but she actually listens, thinks, and isn't afraid to change her mind now and then if something isn't working - a surprisingly rare skill in a colourist! Can't recommend her too highly.

   My colourist of 4 years Tania has just moved to this salon and I visited her new professional home for the first time tonight. She is a super talented, experienced colourist who has given me beautiful shades of reds and coppers for years. We usually tweak the formula every time to play around with things because I have so much trust in her. Highly recommend (obviously!)

   I visited Simi Hair Salon with my daughter about two months ago, and our experience was lovely in many ways. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and I really enjoyed the relaxing head massage before the haircut it felt almost like a spa experience downstairs during the hair wash. The staff were friendly, and the salon itself has a nice, peaceful vibe. However, I was quite disappointed with the actual haircut. At first, I thought it was fine, but over time I noticed my daughter’s hair was very uneven! When I recently went to another salon for colour, the stylist pointed out that one side of my fringe had been left noticeably thicker than the other. Unfortunately, the blow dry also wasn’t the best! Overall, while the experience and service were pleasant, the haircut itself didn’t meet expectations, and for that reason, I wouldn’t return or recommend . EDIT: in response to the owners feedback, here are few pictures of what I’m talking about.

   I fly from Chicago to get my curly haircut by Michela - yes she's that good!! Every time I come to SIMI it's a treat. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. After years of trying to find someone who can help me style my fine curly hair, Michela is my good to. She listens to what you want, suggests what works for you and leaves you looking fabulous. Nicola is equally amazing with hair color. Had a balayage done with her and it was the most natural, flattering blonde. Regardless of who you book with, everyone at SIMI knows their stuff. You're in good hands here.

   At the end of September, I was going to London, was in need of a haircut anyway (I'd been dissatisfied with my recent hairdresser), so I booked one with Simone for the day of my arrival. I never review right after a haircut, because I want to see how it grows out. The salon was very comfortable and relaxed, and everyone was super nice. Simone did a wonderful job designing a new hairstyle based on my easy-care requirement, and cutting my fine but abundant, slightly wavy brown/gray hair. I wanted to go in a slightly different direction, which I discussed with Simone, and he did a fabulous job interpreting what I'd love, which I do. It's been 7 weeks, and it still looks great! If I could, I'd go to him again in a heartbeat, but it may be awhile, given that I lived in Wisconsin. In the meantime, I'm looking for someone here to carry his vision forward. Thanks, Simone!

   Michela has been my hairdresser for several years and she, and her team, are fantastic. Michela is talented and knowledgable and truly listens to what you want, offering advice and guidance. She approaches each appointment with an open mind and doesn't just simply do what was done previously. She works with her clients to evolve the colour and style and I always absolutely love what she does. The salon is clean and stylish and going to Simi Hairlab is a lovely experience.

   This is a great Salon! I had a great experience for my haircut, very professional hair stylists. Simone did a fantastic job and i really appreciate when a hair stylist is determined about what haircut would suit you and your hair type. The result was great! Enjoyed the ambiance as well, very cool place. I will definitely return!
